We have visited the hotel with my family in January. We stayed there one night on Sunday. The hotel was generally empty and we got a nice, extremely specious suite which could sleep probably up to 8 people. The kitchen was well equipped and generally clean. The worst experience however was service we had received in the morning. While check-in... More

Stayed for a weekend with husband in this hotel. The price was incredibly cheap, the place was spotless, the staff were lovely, the room was spacious, the bed was huge and the power shower over bath was terrific. The hotel is 5km from the town of Killarney, taxi out cost us €12 late on a Saturday night. There is a... More

Even though we previously informed the hotel that we required vegetarian food it was not taken into consideration. Menu had lots of 'vegetarian' options, all but one containing fish. The waitress was very apologetic and did her best. We ended up having spring rolls with vegetables. Breakfast was a disaster. We were waiting to be served for twenty minutes. Vegetarian... More

We have just returned from a fab 2 night break in the travel inn in Killarney and I cannot say enough about it. I came across the hotel by accident and was expecting it to be basic but was I wrong. We had a family suite 2 adult 3 children which included a kitchen area .there was one double bedroom... More

We spent a short two nights here during our stay in Ireland. Overall it was very, very good with the only downside of the whole stay being that the internet was down the entire time. We were told that it was outside of the hotel's control which I believe as a fairly severe storm had come through a couple of... More

I stayed here as part of a group of 8 women. We had a suite that could sleep up to 12 people which meant that we had our own area and were away from other people staying in the hotel and did not disturb them. There was a small kitchen area with a fridge, sink, toaster, kettle and cups, saucers... More

The Double Room was sizeable. It was perfectly clean on our arrival. There was a lovely view of the snow-capped mountains from our room at the front of the hotel. It is a few miles from Killarney so transport is essential. Staff were very friendly and efficient. We ate in the bar that evening and my Beef special was lovely... More

I was visiting friends in Ireland, we decided to travel to Killarney. The price for this hotel was good. It was a 2 night stay over New Year's Eve. The staff were polite enough, but didn't go out of their way to help us. There was no hot water on both of the mornings. The response from reception was "there was... More

Dear sleepyhead2028 Thank you for your Tripadvisor review on your recent stay with us at the Travel Inn. I am sorry that because of an electrical fault that the hot water was unavailable for you on one of the mornings. Under normal circumstances we would not have a problem with the number of people using them but that morning we... More

Dear liam m Thank yuo for your Tripadvisor review on your recent stay with us at the Travel Inn.
