I have never written a review before but having been to Ras Kutani I felt I had to!! From the start to finish we loved our time at Ras Katani. We were met at the airport by a hotel taxi and taken to Ras (a two hour journey) - 45 mins of the journey was very bumpy so make sure... More

A real Robinson Crusoe get away experience with miles of white sandy beach, blue seas and a fresh water lagoon. Fabulous room with enormous Swahili bed, views over the lagoon and to the sea beyond. Hardly anyone on the beach save locals, none of whom hassle, but greet you with a ready smile. Excellent food, wonderful service. Dining along on... More

This was our third stop in Tanzania. What a beautiful place with beautiful people. Frankie, Leo, Emile, John P, Joseph.and many more made our trip. Each evening the team try to place you for supper in a different place, by the swimming pool, down by the lagoon, or on the beach, what a treat. The cocktails are amazing too. I... More

Ras Kutani was our first stop in Tanzania for our Honeymoon, and was the perfect introduction to our trip. The staff were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The rooms were truly incredible. Our "hut" was both quite private and also very open to the nature outside of it... breezes, wildlife, vistas, etc. Ras Kutani served delicious meals most often featuring fresh... More

Designed to maximise your comfort and relaxation . Staff always with a ready smile . Food is fresh and delicious . The suites are huge and offer absolute privacy . Beautiful , it was a wrench to leave . Pool isn't big but the Indian ocean is . We would go again in a heartbeat .

Ras Kutani is the perfect beach location for a trip after our excellent safari trips to Siwandu and Jongomero. A short 10 minute flight from the Dar Es Salaam airport in a small plane which was fun. We had two spacious suites, one for my husband and 1 for my 3 teenagers, which were up on the hills. The food... More

If you have had enough of mess and fuss and traffic jam in Dar es Salaam and want to escape... this is the right place! Oasis of tranquility, good taste and untamed nature. CONS: the road to heaven is paved with tough... roads! You need a good car and/or driver! PRO: the place, the food, the people, the sea, etc.

The first thing we were said when we got there was: "Forget about everything. We want you to relax". And it's true. Everything is arranged for you to relax. You will find nice details everywhere. Some are there for every guest. Other are put there for you. All the staff, leaded by the kindest couple you could find anywhere, Leo... More
