Nice place to stay with views of Rainbow Lake if cabin is in that location. Not fancy but owner is working on improvements. Location is close to town and shopping and restaurants Close to Sunrise Ski Resort too!

We stayed (2 couples) in the Ponderosa, and we all enjoyed the cooler weather and the hospitality given by Michelle during our stay. We will definately stay again. The reason we picked this resort was all the positive reviews and all of the comments we read were very positive. I can echo all the previous reviewers about the positive reviews... More

All reviewers are right; the staff is friendly and accommodating. My husband and I stayed for two days during the week. Fishing was less than expected but the lake is low and yes, there are a lot of weeds. Room (Willow) was nice; clean and kitchen was workable and faces the lake...TV was adequate. We will return; the view and... More

This was our first visit to Rainbow Lake Resort. PROS: The room was really clean, the bed was comfortable and amenities were even more than expected. We loved the fact that they supply gas grills, so we didn't have to haul ours along. We had an issue with our TV, as soon as we checked in, but it was replaced... More

Thanks for staying w/ us. We are trying very hard to exceed your expectations. The stray dogs have been taken care of. I have truly only brought my dog to the resort twice since we've taken over because of the rule of no dogs on the grass for health reasons. (Point well taken though.) She was already walked prior to... More

If you want a quiet and clean getaway that will not beak the bank try this out. I have been here a few times and it is very comfortable and quiet. It has a nice family mood and the owners are very nice. I like the fact you can fish and BBQ right close to your room. If you want... More

Just returned from the holiday July 4th weekend at Rainbows End Resort. We stayed in the Aspen, which had a great lake view. Chuck, the owner, was extremely helpful and always around to answer questions or do anything that was needed. It's very obvious that he is really working to improve this little resort and that he loves what he... More

I stayed for two weeks at this resort and enjoyed every moment! The staff remembered my name from first introducing myself. The studio was extremely clean and I enjoyed the "fireplace". This lodge is on Rainbow Lake. My first recommendation to anyone visiting the White Mountains would be this resort!
