What a beautiful visit to Pinetop. I'm more of a hotel girl, but Whispering Pines cabins were just what I needed for this weekend. Beautiful weather, the smell of the pines, clean, comfortable stay. And a short walk to Darbi's restaurant. Definitely coming back a few more times this summer. We stayed in cabin 23, had 2 bedrooms and a... More

Great cabin, great service. We had a 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We had originally booked a 1 bedroom and it apparently was a pet friendly cabin (which we did not need) but another party did so they upgraded us to a 3 bedroom spa unit... More

Thank you for allowing us to upgrade you so that we could welcome another family who was traveling with their pet, it was very selfless and most appreciated by our other guest as well. We couldn't be happier to hear that you enjoyed your larger spa cabin, and appreciate you taking the time to leave such a nice review. Hope... More

Sauliz Floral Dezigns and Arizona Party Rental teams were in Pinetop to service a wedding which was held at Whispering Pines. The area is absolutely perfect for a destination wedding or corporate team building site! It is a great getaway for a long weekend too! The cabins have all the amenities needed, with a bbq grill. Linda and her team... More

Wow, this review has literally made our day.....and the day of other local businesses I am sure. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. I think it goes without saying that a couple's wedding day is one of the most important and memorable events they will experience. To know that everyone came through for this occasion... More

This was our first visit with this resort. Our cabin exceeded our expectations in both location and cleanliness. The rooms, bathroom and even the windows were spotless. The location was peaceful and quiet. Linda and Paul, the camp hosts were very gracious and it was clear that the quality of our visit was important to them. We will definitely return.

Thank you so much for posting such a nice review, we couldn't be happier to hear that we exceeded your expectations! Linda and Paul really are a staple in this community and have been long time owners of the Whispering Pines Resort. Their pride of ownership has always been visible among the locals here... however, it is so appreciated when... More

I have stayed at this resort multiple times and have never been disappointed. Friends and I stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. The cabin kitchens are well furnished - we cooked all our meals and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. Cabins are clean & beds are comfortable, and many cabins allow for private (sleeping) space for each guest.

We love Whispering Pines Resort. We have stayed there many times over the last 15 years. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The cabins are always clean and cozy. We have stayed in their spa cabins and regular cabins and love them all. If we are craving a real wood fire, we rent a regular cabin. If we want to... More

Very happy to hear your family enjoyed their stay, and thanks so much for sharing this with others. We do apologize if the smell of smoke was a problem for any of you, but of course being up here in the mountains you can imagine how many people enjoy the warmth and charm of having a wood burning fireplace available.... This is a great cabin site in the pine woods. There are numerous cabins that vary in size and accommodations. My husband & I have gone here for years we rent the 1 br/1bath cabin. It has a small living area, bedroom, dining area and kitchen that is fully equipped if you want to make your own meals. Our cabin... More

Stayed just one night this past weekend in Cabin 1 (one bedroom). The website has detailed photographs of each cabin (I think... I didn't look at ALL of them) so I knew what to expect. The fireplace as nicely laid out for us so that all we had to do was toss a match into the newspaper kindling to get... More

Thank you so much for such a thorough review of your experience, we couldn't be happier to hear that it was a positive one. We do realize that our way of checking in a guest is a bit "old school" which sounds as if it may have contributed to the slight delay you encountered. Being in a small country area,... More
