We had a wonderful time at Knight Inlet Lodge. As soon as we arrived on the sea plane we were greeted by friendly staff who immediately made us feel welcome and at home. They explained the workings of the lodge days and the trips and within half an hour we were on a boat in the estuary watching bears. We... More

Our stay at Knight Inlet Lodge was the highlight of our three weeks in Canada. Considering you're in the Canadian wilderness, access is relatively easy - thanks to sea-plane travel, Staff are passionate about their environment and its wildlife - and keen to share their knowledge and enthusiasm with guests. There is an almost militaristic approach to planning to ensure... More

An amazing experience, a must if you love wildlife, the outdoors, wonderful food and great staff. A truly mazing setup. Within 45 minutes we were out looking for bears in a small group. What an experience to see them in their own habitats. Extra special as we found four cubs with their mum. All the staff are passionate about everything they do.... More

staff. We were astounding by their dedication towards the animals and wildlife, privacy and comfort in their natural environment . Not only to giving visitors a truly amazing experience of being in close proximity of these animals in their natural environment but primarily to protect them from us intruding ourselves into it. The experience was outstanding. I have never felt... More

Sadly we only got to stay for two nights but should have stayed for three. From the moment you set foot on the dock the activities begin. Within 45 minutes of landing, we were on an Estuary tour looking for Bears. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating and somehow they all are able to remember the guests by... More

We spent three days at Knight Inlet, and would encourage you to do the same - this allows enough time for the day-long whale watch, which at this time of the year delivered us a pod of 17 orcas, around 9 humpback circling the boat, and a lone minke enjoying itself making slow somersaults! And a great lunch too! Back... More

Don't be fooled by the address - you cannot get there by road! I am not sure how I can add to the other reviews without repeating their adulation for this experience. Our travel agent suggested only a 24 hour experience, but we felt that two days would do the place more justice, and we were right. The early flight... More

This is truly one of those special places which allows you to get access to some of the most breathtaking scenery and wildlife I have seen. The bears are simply beautiful and the fact that after spending time in their environment you have to come to grips with the realisation that trophy shooting is still very much in demand is... More
