This is an outstanding experience. You go here to see bears and you are guaranteed to see lots of them. We were there for 3 days / 2 nights. You get 4 outings a day with a choice of what to do e.g. river trip, kayaking, bear watching from stands in the salmon season. We saw bears on every outing... More

Whilst this may not be cheap it is very good value for money if you are a wildlife enthusiast. You are taken by seaplane, which is a fabulous flight, out to the inlet. On arrival all the staff converge on the plane to get your bags out and deliver them to your rooms. After an initial introduction you get to... More

The lodge is in a stunning location. It charges high prices for what it offers which is less than 5 star service. There is a limited range of activities so you would have to be really keen on bear watching to stay more than 2 or 3 days. Some of the guides are very good others only mediocre; there is... More

What an amazing place... A floating 5* hotel. The standard of this lodge is amazing. The rooms are top quality and beds very comfortable. The food is high class and plenty of it! The bears... Wow! You have 4 tours a day first class, guides are very knowledgeable, and enthusiastic! Highly recommend this place.

Great location . Good food and accommodation on this floating lodge in the BC outback/wilderness. A great way to see the Grizzley bears. Also access via float plane through the mountains was stunning and an adventure

Whilst it is a floating accommodation, the standard of the rooms and the food is excellent. The activities are well organized and the bears are incredible. We went on 27th/28th August 2014 and saw loads of bears and thousands of pink salmon, all swimming up hill. We went kayaking and a bear swam within 10 metres of us but we... More

Beautiful place, wonderful staff, good food, incredible animals! Aa amazing experience. Everything is done in a respectful way not to disturb the wildlife and we 've had such beautiful viewings of the grizzlies, even better than we expected. The guides are all beautiful people who have alot to tell about the animals and the surroundings and we learned alot !... More

We stayed for three nights at the lodge at the end of August. We have wanted to do this for several years and the whole experience has been incredible. There are of course lots of reviews singing the praises of this place and while I could just say the place is amazing all round I wanted to put into words... More

Amazing and incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff, fantastic location, very good for watching bears (the Weir and Finger stands consistently seemed to attract most bears) and other wildlife (especially eagles/seals), food great. Absolutely no wifi or mobile phone reception, which was a pleasant relief (e.g. no mobiles interrupting bear watching) and even the wifi addicted offspring agreed on balance that... More

What an amazing place. Only thing that let it down slightly for us, was the hotel in Campbell River. Its no where near the town, so unless you want to eat at the local pub, you have either a long walk or expensive taxi ride to get food. Back to Knights Inlet itself. What an amazing place. The accommodation was... More
