We stayed for three nights at the lodge at the end of August. We have wanted to do this for several years and the whole experience has been incredible. There are of course lots of reviews singing the praises of this place and while I could just say the place is amazing all round I wanted to put into words... More

Amazing and incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff, fantastic location, very good for watching bears (the Weir and Finger stands consistently seemed to attract most bears) and other wildlife (especially eagles/seals), food great. Absolutely no wifi or mobile phone reception, which was a pleasant relief (e.g. no mobiles interrupting bear watching) and even the wifi addicted offspring agreed on balance that... More

What an amazing place. Only thing that let it down slightly for us, was the hotel in Campbell River. Its no where near the town, so unless you want to eat at the local pub, you have either a long walk or expensive taxi ride to get food. Back to Knights Inlet itself. What an amazing place. The accommodation was... More

What an amazing holiday and one it will be difficult to forget. Our aim was to see Black and Grizzly bears and in no way were we disappointed, thanks to the knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides that we were fortunate to have. All the staff went out of their way to ensure that we had an experience never to be forgotten.... More

What a wonderful place! Comfortable rooms, excellent food, and then, of course, the wildlife - bears, whales, dolphins, deer, and the knowledge that you are staying in a place that is trying to help conserve the local bear population. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff (it felt as if we were staying with our oldest and most hospitable friends) Everyone does the... More

No words can describe this place and the experiences possible from there. Fly in by sea plane and 45 mins later you are on boats looking for bears. Superb organisation and logistics and a friendly staff make for an easy time. Catering superb and the design of the activities and support equipment is very well thought out. People of all... More

Absolutely wonderful time at Knight Inlet Lodge. Arrived by floatplane early morning and welcomed by lovely, friendly staff who immediately took care of our luggage, gave us the bedroom keys and made us feel at home. We had a briefing, which lasted approximately half hour, then grabbed a quick coffee and onto our first bear watching experience - fantastic! Over... More

We had a wonderful time at Knight Inlet Lodge. As soon as we arrived on the sea plane we were greeted by friendly staff who immediately made us feel welcome and at home. They explained the workings of the lodge days and the trips and within half an hour we were on a boat in the estuary watching bears. We... More

Our stay at Knight Inlet Lodge was the highlight of our three weeks in Canada. Considering you're in the Canadian wilderness, access is relatively easy - thanks to sea-plane travel, Staff are passionate about their environment and its wildlife - and keen to share their knowledge and enthusiasm with guests. There is an almost militaristic approach to planning to ensure... More

An amazing experience, a must if you love wildlife, the outdoors, wonderful food and great staff. A truly mazing setup. Within 45 minutes we were out looking for bears in a small group. What an experience to see them in their own habitats. Extra special as we found four cubs with their mum. All the staff are passionate about everything they do.... More
