For the price of a city motel room you get an old style room. The bathroom was in need of repairs, cracked tiles, missing grout, water damaged vanity and door. I have stayed in pubs with better bathrooms. The motel was booked out and some of the guests partied very loudly into the early hours of the morning without any... More

I first stayed here on a business trip about 8 or 9 years ago and I think it seems about the same, the gardens are nice but it's nothing mind blowing. The rooms have seen a new coat of paint and the bathrooms have been renovated but I wouldn't say it's top notch but it is affordable and clean which... More

As others have said, Parklands is more of a motel than a resort, albeit with some resort-like features including extensive well-maintained gardens. We were on a business trip and the rooms were well-maintained and quite modern. Nothing to complain about there and our stay was pleasant enough with no problems. Parklands is very close to town... a pleasant walk for... More

We were travelling to Mudgee for a family wedding and 12 rooms had already been booked individually for various guests travelling in for the wedding. I called to try and book a further 12 rooms for other guests and was told that they would not do a group booking. We had to book each room individually on a separate booking... More

We have stayed here a few times and while the rooms are ageing they are very nice. I was sick this visit and did vomit a bit on the bottom sheet a little. I cleaned up as best as I could and left a damp towel on the bit of mess. we were then charged $100 as they claimed they... More

Many thanks for your review and we hope you are feeling better. As mentioned the room did need extra cleaning after your departure. Due to the nature of the condition it is imperative that the linen is disposed of, not washed and reused. It is also important that the room is completely spring cleaned and sanitized. Our apologies if you... More

Loved the place. I was there for a conference so great to have the convenience of staying at conference venue. Food was amazing, room very spacious and quiet location. Would be a lovely location for a wedding or just a weekend away.

A group of 12 celebrated a 70th birthday here. I booked from afar and spoke to staff a few times before we all arrived. This place was one of the few that allowed one night stays. The venue is beautiful and surprisingly human scale for a convention centre. We all had adjoining rooms facing onto a verandah and view of... More

Standard room was very standard. Chipped surface in bath. Taps in the 'shower over bath' were down low and the old style where you had to lift a knob to convert bath to shower. Very inconvenient got wet and nearly burnt during conversion. The wooden door was breaking apart on the inside. The balcony door was very difficult to lock... More

We stayed for one night at Parklands Resort in October 2014. The layout is very much like that of a motel. You drive in, check in, then drive your car around to your room. There are two floors, with rooms in rows. We on the second floor which meant we had a balcony overlooking the garden. The view was really... More
