After getting over the initial shock around the age and fitment of the rooms, I decided that it was too 'quaint' in a 70's kind of way to get angry about. The bathroom was so small and cramped that I couldnt sit on the toilet comfortably, and for some reason, soap in a bottle rather than a traditional cake, continues... More

We stayed here last weekend, it is an old motel, everything in the room was in working order, the bed was a bit uncomfortable & the pillows too hard (yet we stayed here a year ago in a different room & the bed & pillows were fine) There was a stench in the room like sewerage when we first entered,... Good : Reception was very friendly and courteous. Rooms were clean and comfortable with alot more room than I thought. Breakfast was tasty. Bad : could do with an update of the furnishings, not really a fault just an observation.

Pros - close to town centre ... office and cleaning ladies were lovely Cons- the room hasn't been updated since the 70's...we would've been more comfortable sleeping on the floor it was softer than the bed.... we could hear everything the neighbours were doing and saying including what was happening in the bathroom above us ...joy...there are no soft closing... $130 for a large room that sleeps 4. The bathroom is really in need of a make-over. Way too small and dark. Basin is very badly designed. You cannot get your hands under the tap without spraying water all over the floor. However, the motel is located walking distance to restaurants and shops and parks.

We stayed at the Wanderlight Motel recently and found the Wanderlight to be good value for money. The staff were polite and helpful, the rooms are clean but a bit dated. The air conditioner is one of the old in wall types which only work so well, and are a bit noisy but the rooms are well equipped. The Motel... More

We have stayed at this motel several times & we stayed 1 night this time on our way home from Narrabri. Bed was comfortable, no electric blanket but room had quiet air/con. Tea & coffee supplies also with biscuits is a nice touch & a mini-bar at reasonable prices. Needs a bit of an update as bedspreads looking a bit... More

Stayed recently for one night on business trip..chose hotel because of restaurant and was glad i did. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and have everything you need. I stayed here on a business trip, so didn't need a lot of facilities. The room was very large, but you could tell it was quite old. It was all in good condition and the bed was comfortable. The limited undercover parks are VERY small, so if you don't want someone to open their car door on yours, you will... More
