I woul actually say this place is GOOD rather than VERY GOOD. Polite staff and room in decent condition. The bathroom seems to have a bit if an odour which I have noticed in other places in Mudgee so no reflection on BW. They seem to have done some renovations since last year & wifi much better too. Pity the... More

Ok, so first what should you expect from a $145 a night country motel? Not the world! However warm, clean, comfortable and friendly would be nice and that is just what you get here. Sure I could pick the hell out of any older cheap country motel but then I could also pick the hell out of my run around... More

We have stayed at this hotel many times and we would recommend it to anyone looking for value for money comfort. Very close walk to the centre of town, brewery's and amazing bars and restaurants, settled in a quiet part of town. The staff are friendly and the rooms are very spacious. Definitely suit a family, couple or someone on... More

After getting over the initial shock around the age and fitment of the rooms, I decided that it was too 'quaint' in a 70's kind of way to get angry about. The bathroom was so small and cramped that I couldnt sit on the toilet comfortably, and for some reason, soap in a bottle rather than a traditional cake, continues... More

We stayed here last weekend, it is an old motel, everything in the room was in working order, the bed was a bit uncomfortable & the pillows too hard (yet we stayed here a year ago in a different room & the bed & pillows were fine) There was a stench in the room like sewerage when we first entered,... Good : Reception was very friendly and courteous. Rooms were clean and comfortable with alot more room than I thought. Breakfast was tasty. Bad : could do with an update of the furnishings, not really a fault just an observation.

Pros - close to town centre ... office and cleaning ladies were lovely Cons- the room hasn't been updated since the 70's...we would've been more comfortable sleeping on the floor it was softer than the bed.... we could hear everything the neighbours were doing and saying including what was happening in the bathroom above us ...joy...there are no soft closing... $130 for a large room that sleeps 4. The bathroom is really in need of a make-over. Way too small and dark. Basin is very badly designed. You cannot get your hands under the tap without spraying water all over the floor. However, the motel is located walking distance to restaurants and shops and parks.

We stayed at the Wanderlight Motel recently and found the Wanderlight to be good value for money. The staff were polite and helpful, the rooms are clean but a bit dated. The air conditioner is one of the old in wall types which only work so well, and are a bit noisy but the rooms are well equipped. The Motel... More
