Wildwood is a gorgeous, homely bed and breakfast right in the heart of the Mudgee winelands but hidden in a peaceful and beautiful bush setting. Our room overlooked the dam and we could have sat for hours on the veranda watching the birds and kangaroos and soaking up the stillness. The rooms were perfectly appointed with everything we needed. Breakfast... More

Rob our host was very welcoming. The house is very well appointed. Breakfast products were abundant with lots of fruit in the fridge. Sitting outside having a drink by the dam watching rabbits and kangaroos having there evening meal was relaxing before retiring to a very comfortable bed.

You can hear the butterfly flap its wings here. You wake up to scores of wallabies and kangaroos in the fields by the dams. The kitchen has everything and more to prepare whatever your hearts desire. Sit indoors amongst style and finesse, or outdoors on the well appointed verandahs. Dining tables x3 make this an ideal place for welcoming guests... More

We dropped in to stay at Mudgee en route north, and wished we could stay longer. Just out of town, in a beautiful rural setting, the guesthouse was so well appointed with many pleasant extras. Couldn't fault the place for cleanliness and comfort. Hosts were welcoming and pleasant...we hope to go back. This would be a great place to take... More

If you are looking for a great place to stay in Mudgee look no further. Wildwood is about 5 mins drive from mudgee, however there are many vineyards between the Mudgee town, many are on the same road as Wildwood. The setting is fabulous, there are 4 bedrooms all with own ensuite, all have beautiful decor. The bedrooms all have... More

Rob and Jude welcomed our young family and dog to their beautiful property. We enjoyed the most relaxing weekend, were treated to a delicious cooked breakfast by our hosts (nothing was too much trouble for them) and met some lovely people during our stay at the guesthouse. The setting is tranquil, with acres of free roaming and discovery, wildlife to... More

We've been to Mudgee many times and we absolutely love two of their fabulous accom options - Beverley House (separately reviewed) and Wildwood - they're just so different and both world class! Wildwood is set out of Mudgee (about 5 mins by car) so you will need transport to get there. The guest house is separate from the owners home... More
