I can only agree with previous comments..The AC is a very nice hotel located just outside town on the main road into Cuenca -so easy to find. New modern hotel, oddly located behind a McDonald's and a petrol station (perfect to get drinks and snacks, though). It is a 3 km drive to the old town, so perhaps not ideal for those without a car. The hotel itself was comfortable but it was further out of town than we had expected. There are no restaurants handy and the room service menu was very basic. We would not stay here again due to its location. more

The Ac Cuenca is very easy to find being alongside the N320 road. Although a couple of km south of the town centre, it offers excellent value for money, is modern and clean. Don't expect great views from your room, but there is ample parking and the meals, although the menu is somewhat limited, were excellent. We would definitely stay... more
