The parador is located in a centuries old monastery just outside the medieval centre of Cuenca. The location couldn't be better. We had a perfect room, large, calm, beautifully decorated. Great an friendly staff. More

The Parador in Cuenca is overlooking the Gorge and the City is connected by a footbridge. The service here was average, it is quite touristy so very busy. Parking was difficult, not enough parking spaces. However the rooms were nicely appointed, ours was huge. This is a large Parador, not quite so intimate as the smaller ones. More

Both the parador and the town of cuenca were wonderful. The picture postcard view of cuenca was from outside of the parador with the hanging houses and the gorge only a short walk away. Try to get to the parador early in the afternoon of your stay as the car park fills up quite quickly. More
