The Parador is easy to find if you follow the signs to it when coming into town. We stayed for two night. when I think of a Parador, I think of an old historic building converted into a hotel. that's exactly what this hotel is; the old Convent of San Pablo. The staff was friendly and helpful. there is some... More

We booked three nights in a standard room at the hotel to visit Cuenca with the Golden Days discount. Housed in an old monastery, it is a fascinating building with some wonderful features. Our rooms were ample in size with a good standard of comfort. The included breakfast was fine with a plentiful choice of cold and hot dishes to... More

Loved staying in this parador. Gorgeous architecture, with modern artwork installed throughout. My favorite part was sitting in the interior court yard having a vermouth in the sushine one afternoon. The rooms were large and well appointed. fun access to the old part of Cuenca across a beautiful, but slightly scary bridge. Definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed here for 2 nights which was about right for seeing the sights of Cuenca. But otherwise we could have easily stayed far longer; enjoying the hotel so much. This was the first time we'd stayed at a Parador. Usually we find them a bit out of our price range; but the price we got here was amazingly good... More

A beautiful old building with all the modern conveniences! We spent 2 nights here in August and were so delighted that we picked this hotel. The rooms were spacious and ours had a wonderful outlook over the old town of Cuenca. The breakfasts were fantastic with a great choice of hot and cold food and a wide variety of fresh... More

I love this hotel for a number of reasons. The magnificent and ancient architecture and structure of the building just creates an ambience of calm. Especially the central open air cafe and restuarant area with the sound of the water feature after breakfast. Just sitting reading in the early morning sun. Gives me a feeling of calm just thinking about... More

The hotel is in a beautiful old convent and the location in Cuenca could not be better. We reserved a superior room and we were glad, because the view was outstanding. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Could be time for some TLC/updating although cannot imagine staying any other place in Cuenca, this is a very... More

It was the second time around I stayed in this parador, it was still beautiful and refurnished since I stayed there last, however, compared to other paradors, this one is large, in a huge beautiful old building, not particularly intimate. It does however have amazing views onto the village and its hanging houses, which you have to ensure booking correctly,... More

We have stayed here a few times. Love that it is on top of the mountain overlooking the valley and the hanging houses. Lovely drives around the countryside and great little finds on the forest drives. Love the little village of Palomera. . Good little family restaurant with locals We just love this area. Lots to see if you like... More

The hotel was just as described very welcoming, clean, and beautiful. The staff could not have been more helpful and the room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location was fantastic with an incredible view of the hanging houses. It was Monday night so most restaurants were closed so we ate in the cafe in the hotel - the cheeseburgers... More
