We stayed only for 1 night and had a very good evening and night! After walking along the historical neighbourhood we relaxed having dinner at the Parador's restaurant which turned out to be the best decision we could have taken! Sitting in the center courtyard of the old convent, eating one delicious dish after another and enjoying quiet music by... More

A magnificent loaction overlooking the houses perched on the gorge at Cuenca. Beautiful lounge and public areas. Good food in the restaurant. Lovley tradtional bedroom with awesome views. Hold your breath when crossing the bridge from the hotel to Cuenca if you haven't got a head for hights!

Hotel is in good condition and the venue is certainly memorable. the rooms were spacious, clean, complete with all required modern amenities; and if you need THE view make sure to request it. The restaurant for dinner and evening snacks was adequate. Breakfast buffet is ample and caters for all tastes. Be sure to request parking in the interior garage... More

Thank you for you opinion. Now in Summer we are reforming the gym, but the pool with wonderful views is open. And no problem for "siesta", no works on that time. More

Very definitely on the tourist trail Cuenca has all the usual tourist shops but yet retains a unique character. The Parador built from an older convent building, had splendid views of the hanging houses and is a very short walk away from the old town. Rooms are spacious with large bathrooms. Notably also our room was equipped with fittings suitable... More

The Parador is a "non smoking hotel" but outside, in the cloister, 18 m. x 21 m. = 378m2 our Guests can smoke. For dinner, our Restaurant, open all the year from 08:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Thank you for your opinion. More

We have been at a number of Paradores hotels, and this generally lives up to the experience. We got a room that smelled of cigarette, staff changed to a better room without any problems. Highly recomenable, not the least for the location in an old monastery. If anything, it would be that we got the feeling that the hotel is... More

We stayed here for three nights in July. The hotel is badly in need of modernisation but has a lot of charm. It is an old building with a cloister and on our first evening there was a great jazz band playing music there while we sat outside for drinks. Unfortunately, when we reached our rooms we discovered that both... More

Thank you, for your opinion. We are glad that you liked the group of Jazz. We have live music, Sunday through Thursday, in the sixteenth-century cloister. We regret that you did not know that we have different varieties of coffee. More

I have a soft spot for Paradores. They have a history, not always comfortable but are located in some of the best locations and buildings in Spain. staying in a Parador links you to the history of the area and country and they are really full of character. The Cuenca hotel is such an edifice located in a 500 year... More

A beautiful building with an even more beautiful view! Be sure to walk across the bridge and see the hanging houses from closer. Continue into the town to see the colourful plaza and listen to someone playing guitar or eat some traditional biscuits!

I would return to the Parador in Cuenca. Great charm of the cloister and location opposite the old city across the gorge, close yet far away. I took a Superior room, which must be one of the best located ones with full view of the old city, including the Casas Colgadas, and of the new city and beyond down the... More

Small free parking area. There is other parking which I think you have to pay for - we didn't use it. Check in efficient and trouble free. Hotel clean and charming with the old features preserved. Large clean room, big four poster bed, large excellent bathroom. Sofa. Pod coffee making machine. Good wifi in room. A/C adequate. Beautiful view over... More
