We spent one night in this very historic hotel in old town Cuenca. Our hosts at the hotel were most gracious, rooms were very clean and a good breakfast in the morning. WiFi in lobby only. A good location for hikes and beautiful architecture - the hanging houses.

This was a magnificent old monastery with views that took your breath away. Great service and amazing tapas nearby. A short walk up the hill at night provided a view worth recording. The market in the square was worth a stroll and the night life very colourful.

This is one of the most characterful and charming hotels we have stayed in, anywhere. Dates back to the 17th century. Service was always helpful and they provided a nice breakfast for only 9 euros. We had a fan in our room to keep things cool. There is a lovely little sitting room above the restaurant where we could catch... More

The place was built on an easy walk from the cathedral so that clergy would be in time. As a solo traveler I was offered a single room at the end of an up stairs or a double en suite opposite of a downstairs. I should have paid extra for a better room since I was woken every night by... More

We loved this place. This is a historical building, but with all the modern facilities. Our room had an amazing window view and was very quiet. Very comfortable bed and very nice personnel. Good wi-fi at the reception.

An update. We stayed a second night but had to leave our gorge-side suite for room 27. They had warned us of the kitchen vent noises so no complaints there. We waited to get fresh air till after the kitchen closed. But the room is near to the entrance hall and Saturday night ended late for some with banging doors... More

A lovely rustic hotel that used to be a monastery and has retained old features and charm. Our bedroom (Room 33) actually sloped towards the gorge which was unnerving at first but actually it grew on us and became something we became to think of that set it apart from other experiences! We had the breakfast buffet; the food was... More

This inn is in a hanging house. Although you only know this if you can get out of the inn and get a photo of it from below. It was disappointing. Staff were friendly and helpful in a professional sense but in comparing our experience to medieval Albarracin we knew what going the extra mile means. As for the bedroom...... More

We were on a Road Scholar Tour of Spain which took us to this beautiful town and booked accommodations at this wonderful inn. The room was lovely and had a great balcony overlooking the gorge. We ate several meals in the restaurant during our two night stay, which were delicious. Cuenca should not be missed and staying at Posada de... More
