Location is great, with plenty of free parking. If driving, pack patience. Cuenca is a nightmare of small streets and construction. Your GPS will fail you miserably, and send you down narrow streets unfit for a bicycle. Stick with only the main road up the hill, and you will end up at the hotel without issue. We had a weird... We were greeted at reception by a very friendly and knowledgeable lady who provided us with a map of Cuenca and detailed everything we needed to know including sights and places to eat. She showed us to our modern and extremely well equipped accommodation and explained everything in the apartment and how to use it. The apartment was spacious and... More

What a brilliant place to stay. Our room overlooked the gorge which was stunning by day and wonderful by night. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped. If you are in the middle of a tour the washing machine will be a boon. Cuenca is wonderful, especially at night when subtle floodlighting is used to great... More

The apartment is in a great location just at the foot of "El Castillo" walls overlooking the Arch which serves to enter/leave the old town. The views from our apartment bedroom window overlooked the beautiful gorge of the Júcar River, with a front room view of the Castle Towers and old city. A short walk,on a slight but not so... More

What a great find! This was without doubt the best place we stayed at during our 9 day trip through Spain. Our windows looked onto a 500 year old castle wall or the beautiful cliffs, and the apartment had everything we wanted and more. Not only that, this was the most affordable place we stayed at. For only 70 euros... More

We found Alizaque just by chance and it was an unexpected pleasure. We had already Heard about Cuenca as a wonder, but thanks to this hotel we really enjoyed the stay. Modern while charming place, very comfortable as it allowed us to rest quietly with a lot of available space in the room, and perfectly located with an amazing view... More

We spent a couple of days in Cuenca on our way back to Madrid. Cuenca itself is stunning! The old town is beautifully maintained, and even though there are cars passing up and down, it retains its charm. We had an apartment on the top floor of the Alizaque lodge and it was amazing. Laura, the girl who greeted us... More

This is a GREAT place. It is a multi-room apartment with full kitchen, bar, we had a loft room with nice dormer, a window looked out on two canyons from each side of the apt. Also, dishwasher, washing machine fridge, everything, and it was so nice. People great. Location, it is the last thing on the left before you go... More

Apart from tom tom not being able to find it, we were able to park outside free of charge. Situated almost as high as you can go-it was perfect for views of the old town and gorge. We were able to walk to most things. The apartment was perfect with a fully fitted out kitchen (a kettle was provided on... More

Great reception from Laura - very helpful explanation of the layout of the old town and where to eat. The lodge is sited right up the top of the old town and beautiful views are right on the front doorstep. Inside, the apartment is modern and well fitted out with everything you could want: a high pressure shower, flat panel... More
