This was one of 3 paradors we stayed at (Albacete and Alarcon the other 2), they were all different, the quality of the accommodation was first class in all three, quality rooms and location. We booked media pension (half board) at all three and this is where the places differed. The quality of the food was certainly the best at this parador, however I wish they didn't have such pretentious maitre d's. The one here was particularly officious, leaving people waiting at his desk when ther was no obvious reason and then taking a much longer time than necessary to actually take your order, but this is only one of 2 small gripes. The other is the range of food offered for half board, from a very good menu, we were only allowed to select 2 of the starters and 2 of the main meat courses, much less than at the other paradors,perhaps they should follow the others we stayed at and provide a fuller range.
