Lovely pretty little town perched in the mountains, a UNESCO world heritage site with lovely bars and restaurants scattered about. Hotel was lovely, cool and calm. Expected rooms to be basic in this olde worlde place, and couldn't be more wrong. Beautiful bathroom, large beds, crisp linen and plenty of hanging space. Very recent modernisation programme, and very helpful staff... More

Great location in a spectacular town. Dont bother with their restaurant - the one directly accross the road was one of the best meals we have had, full stop. Breakfast was also very expensive. We went down to the Plaza Major and had jamon, bread and coffee with the locals.

Cuenca is an amazing city on the gorge. Steep streets, lots of alleys and stairs and hairpin turns. We stayed here 3 nights in a twin bedded room which was very comfortable. Had a great view from our window toward the gorge and across to the parador. Fabulous! We were on the 3rd floor. Staff were very helpful. Had issues... More

The hotel is clean with an excellent selection of food for breakfast. It sits a minute or two's walk from the main square with 24 hour parking available just up the road a short walk, where you can enter and leave as often as you like during the day. Alternatively you can ta chance at free public parking near the... More

Right choice Although located in the historic city center, the street is quiet. Does not have its own parking, but customers benefit from reduced public parking, located a few meters. The hotel occupies the space of a former convent, has the minimum comfort conditions, maintaining the tradition and the environment. Attentive staff. It has free wi-fi, but slowly. Good quality... Great but quirky hotel. Perfect position to research old city and cathedral. Good range of breakfast food in very clean and bright restaurant. We were in an attic bedroom so although large floor area because of low sloping roof and beams much of it could not be accessed. Also view from window (well worth it) only available by climbing step... More

An old Convent that has been tastefully converted. It has a modern restaurant and a bar plus an outside courtyard backing on to the Cathedral. The entance isn't too impressive but the main staircase - wow. Rooms are nice, functional rather than luxurious but they are large and spotless with loads of goodies in the bathroom. I was a little... More

The room and bathroom were as one would expect, although the beds were quite hard. The heating/cooling device under the window was centrally controlled and unfortunately set to heat, which we found uncomfortable at night. With the window open there was quite a lot of noise in the early morning. Due to the thickness of the walls, Wifi does not... More

A lovely hotel in a lovely place. Extremely well located with all the main Cuenca sights easily reached. The views from our bedroom were superb. The room itself was very comfortable, with wooden beams and traditional furniture and the bathroom was also very well appointed. Breakfast was good with the usual breads, cereals, juices, fresh fruit, cooked items etc -... More

The location of the hotel is excellent, just a block from the catedral, few minutes from the castle gate. The room is comfortable, and the view is amazing. the bed a bit hard but good for us. Breakfast is ok, El Aljibe restaurant very nice and good value. Staff friendly and profesional.
