We have just returned from a weekend in Zamora and we had a lovely stay at the Horus Zamora. We booked a Junior Suite and loved it: the room has a separate living room very spacious bedrooms and also a big bathroom, plus a nice balcony. The building used to be a bank and it has been very well maintained... More

Very very nice hotel. In the center of Zamora. Lots of restaurants and bars around the hotel. Also some churchs. Face to the principal market of the town. Not far, the cathedral. Good room. Friendly staff.

We got a good deal here and I'm so pleased we did! The room we got overlooked an internal area; if one was to be very generous, one could say that it was a courtyard. However it was a crummy little space which had the kitchens at the bottom of it. As a result there was no natural light or... More

When we arrived we found they had assigned us a top floor room with a skylight. We didn't prefer this, so we asked if there was anything else. We were graciously moved to a huge suite (that we didn't need, but it WAS nice). The furnishings are traditional in style, but the room was quite comfortable. The breakfast was quite... More

Stayed one night here on our travels. Good points: Staff very friendly and helpful, but we did have to brush up on our Spanish! Rooms large with most things necessary. Underground parking (if a bit typically tight for space). Not so good points: We were initially shown to a room which smelt strongly of tobacco smoke. i am very surprised... More

We had a standard room via an internet deal - i.e. not one of the suites on the top floor, but still luxurious by our standards! A huge room, big bathroom with a really comfortable bath, and a plate of melon and pineapple waiting for us on our return late on our second evening. The staff were friendly and helpful.... More

Very nice hotel, superb junior suite with two pieces. Good bathroom with amenities (bath robes included). In the morning very nice breakfast with a wide range of food and drink. We really enjoyed it. The staff was nice and polite. Only disadvantage, not free parking. Everything around is paying blue zone. We would come back!!

This is certainly a 4 star hotel in my book, and to get a suite for 90 euros including breakfast was terrific value. The staff were helpful especially over car parking, and the set menu was delicious in the hotel restaurant, and very cheaply priced. We had no complaints whatever, and Zamora is a little gem of a place with very few tourists

Wife and I and a relative couple stayed here for a night. We had the attic rooms which were very nice, spacious and clean. The bathrooms were fantastic. However, as the hotel was located in front of a little sqaure and right opposite a local in-door market, checking-in presented a bit of a problem as the place was so crowded.... More

This hotel was a great deal for the money, 70 Euros per night. The negatives are that there is no place to park in front of the hotel, not even to unload your luggage, and then you have to lug your luggage up a flight of stairs to the front desk. I ran inside to ask the front desk what... More
