Hotel Zenit dos Infantas is a convenient place to stay if you're in Zamora as a tourist. It's within walking distance to the Plaza Mayor, the cathedral and other major sites. Rooms are comfortable and the staff is very helpful, with good English spoken. Breakfast is good. Finding this hotel is a bit of a trick because it's located at... More

Stayed here for five days after completing the Camino. Comfortable large room (twin double), nicely styled, very clean. Helpful, friendly staff at the desk. On the edge of the old city center and easy strolling distance to the churches and cathedral of Zamora. Very convenient for tapas, shopping, bus station, train station. Opted out of breakfast, at 8€ per person... More

The hotel is located on the edge of the non-vehicle part of the city so it is not as hard to get to as some European hotels. Very helpful reception staff. Rooms have been refurbished and are comfortable. Wifi was good. Breakfast simple but delicious; in fact the food was better than a number of 4/5 star hotels that I... More

This hotel is in the old town of Zamora, and one has to walk through the town to reach the Plaza Mayor and the Cathedral. There are bars and restaurants near the hotel. Our room was spacious and modern and when we arrived it was 38C, so the air conditioning coped very well. The staff at reception were courteous and... More

Dear Christine, Thank you for your comments on our helpful staff and convenient location near bars and shops. They are much appreciated. We're also pleased to hear our air-con system coped with the heat of the summer. We know the entrance to the car park can be a bit tricky to find and manage, that's why we'll be happy to... More

Clean and ok, but 1. my room needed renovation - big water stains on the ceiling 2. hair-dryer was put at the height of ca. 2m (= unreachable) 3. at the reception desk hardly anyone spoke English or any other language (I've offered English, German, Italian or French) 4. since I was leaving at 5.30 there was of course no... Dear Serafina, We are sorry to hear about your stay at Dos Infantas, which really sounds like an unfortunate one. We welcome travellers from all over the world and this is the first time we are unable to communicate well with one. We'll make sure an English speaking colleague is always available at reception. Regarding the water stains, it really... More

We stayed here with three children overnight en route to Galicia and it was fine for this purpose. The staff were polite and helpful. The interconnecting rooms worked well. Parking was provided although the entrance and spaces were very small and thus it was challenging to park! One of the bedside lamps was faulty to the point of blowing a... More

In the old town convenient for whatever sightseeing you want to do. Courteous and pleasant reception who sorted out an air conditioning problem very quickly. Breakfast rather unimaginative but convenient. Room and bathroom small but functional. Fine place to stay.

A very modern and agreeable hotel near the main pedestrian streets of Zamora. The rooms are very good and clean. Definitely an excellent with a good price. From the hotel to major local attractions is less than 10 minutes in a straight walk (many Romanesque churches, plaza mayor, the castle, the river Duero, etc.

We found this hotel by internet search, and at just over €40 per night it was excellent value for money. Apparently quite new the rooms were modern and smart, if overly hot. Good location just 10 minutes from Plaza Mayor. Our friends stayed at a hostal 500 metres closer to the city centre for €10 less per night, but the... More
