Please note, this review is for Palma Mazas 2, formerly called the Emperador and is 100m down the hill from Palma Mazas 1. I paid £190 for a weeks bed & breakfast (including flight & transfer) so I wasn't expecting the 5** Ritz, however, although the Palma Mazas 2 is only a 2**, it wasn't such a bad experience as... An old hotel with the fading grandeur of better times. Rooms are small, virtually without any comfort, thin walls so you feel like sitting besides your neighbour next floor. Locking the door is useless as any stronger sneeze will blow it open. The bathroom was clean although with 40 year old facilities. There was airconditoning though I had no idea... More

I believe you get what you pay for and as I didn't pay much for this holiday my expectations were not high, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly and the food and drinks are good. I was all inclusive so had to go to the sister hotel to eat but the walk was pleasant.... More
