We have just come back form the hotel having paid 120 each for a weeks diner bed & breakfast. We were supposed to stay at another hotel which was shut and were rerouted to the san diego. we arrived at 9pm and the receptionist was very pleasant and rang through to the restaurant which was just closing to make sure... more

We were more than disapointed with our stay at the hotel, although it was kept clean, the food was 'bland' to say the least and as for entertainment..there is none! We were very disappointed in this hotel - it reminded us of the bad ol' days of European travel. The room smelled horrible, was very tatty and not very clean at all. We stayed at this hotel after being told that it had been refurbished over the winter. We found out a new front had been put on the hotel, 'psuedo air con' installed, some low grade furniture installed in the rooms and very little else. The hotel is in the worst part of Arenal, noisy throughout the night, but very convenient... more
