I've literally just returned from Cala San Vincente, staying at the Hostal Oriola. Walking into the Hotel is like stepping back in time. It is spotlessly clean, and retains lots of old world charm. Pepe and Ramon are excellent hosts and are very chatty. I loved staying at the hotel, its very quiet with a very private pool. I'm already... More

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast very good. We didn't feel comfortable with CCTV at the swimming pool. Disabled access non existent. A bit disappointing. No lifts which was a problem for my husband. We did not have the evening meal but it seemed reasonably priced at around 13 Euros. Might be a better hotel for the more physically ambulant.

This place feels like a family run guest house - clean, simple basics and run with a friendly touch by brothers Pepe and Ramon. At the end of my first day here, I feel like I've discovered a hidden gem of Mallorca. I don't suppose Hostal Oriola has changed much since it was built (20 years ago?) except for the... More

My husband and I returned to the Oriola Hostal in September having spent a pleasant week there in early May this year. What a change there was in the two brothers running the Hostal. We are in our seventies and had requested a lower floor at the front, if possible, but were allocated one on the second floor at the... More

This charming hotel, in a perfect location, was built by local ornithologist, botanist and walker, Juan Noguera. His two sons now run it - Ramon and Pepe. As such, you can expect the personal touch, and get satisfaction from knowing that you are supporting a local family, and not a big hotel chain. It is classified as a 'hostal', but... More

Cala San Vicente is a lovely resort and great for lazing around on the beach with a good enough selection of Cafe Bars / Restaurants providing quality food for all tastes and budgets. We have been several times before and stayed in The Molins and rented private villas. We had seen the Oriola from the outside and after reading reviews... More

Good basic hotel with comfortable clean beds and en suite facilities, although wardrobe was a bit 'musty'. Breakfast good, taken in dining room or on pergola terrace. Decor is dated, but adds to charm. Good pool, but takes some finding through back stairway. Location is good, just far enough away from main centre to keep it quiet. But what sets... More

We have stayed in very expensive hotels nearby but they were full and so we decided to go to the Oriola based on reviews but were a little nervous as we had never stayed in a "hostal" before. We could not have been more impressed we checked in with one of the very helpful owners who was really informative and... More
