We arrived in Badajoz and having seen several hostals in the centre of the old town we just didn't realise how difficult it was to access these places. The streets are very narrow and charming if you are on foot and are wanting a restaurant but to find somewhere to stay at the end of a long days driving forget... More

My wife and I spent last night at this Hotel. We stopped off on route from northern Spain to Gibraltar, finding availability without prior booking. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The hotel is well furnished and generally well presented. I have stayed in 4 star Hotels that did not come up to the standard of this 3 star... More

The hotel is ok for an overnight stay en-route to another location. There is adequate parking if the locals don't abandon their vehicles in stupid places as they seem to do!! the rooms are of a good standard, I'm at a loss to understand the english travellers complaining about the lack of british t.v.! do we have spanish t.v in... A very disappointing hotel, the room was poky and very hot, the AC could not cope and was noisy. The TV was ancient and DID NOT have Sky news as advertised, only Spanish/Portuguese channels. Since it was a Saturday night there was a wedding reception, music until 5am! When I asked for a reduction the receptionist's English suddenly disappeared -... More

The service was really nice. On one night owing to a bit of a disaster, we had checked in and then due to (rental car problems don't rent from gold car Spain, they won't let you extend your rental car contract as all other car companies let you do over the phone) and we had to check out 30 minutes... I was very happy with the hotel. Everything was clean, the room spacious, the bathroom very nice and even the parking was free! The only complaint I have is that the pillow on the bed was the hardest I have ever used...anywhere!! It was horrible, but otherwise no complaints. A good deal at 60 euros a night as well.
