Big sprawling complex of rooms, metal walk ways and stairs. More resembles hostel accommodation and geared up for the couch tours, visitors to the north cape and walkers. Lobby on the right as you entered that opened into a large dining area and self service counters. There was also a tea/coffee station that was complimentary for guests. Upper floor was... More

This is very basic accommodation, but it's one of the closest places to North Cape which is the reason for coming here. Our room (no. 215-B) had two not very comfortable single beds with very small pillows, a small table and two chairs, reading lights, a phone, and two historic nautical photos on the wall. There were no such luxuries... More

Stayed one night at this hotel June 2013. Rooms are small and more like hostel style ( no TV, no internet available, very basic beds ). Hotel is crowded with low cost bus tour guests ( = noisy!! ). Buffet dinner was big with options but low with quality and the drinks are expensive. Seems like 99% of the guests... More

Obviously there isn't much choise so near to the North Cape. In the end this hotel is your best option. The architecture has been adapted to it's surroundings, and the central hall is to remind you of a Sami tent. This is where the breakfast and diner is served. These are good, allthough it can be crowded, since it's mainly... More

I stayed here as part of a bus tour group on around Scandinavia trip. The hotel was comfortable rooms clean. Excellent water pressure in the shower. This would best be considered a decent tourist hotel. Fairly basic, but certainly adequate. It was quite crowed with other bus tours and lots of independent tourists. The buffet breakfasts were decent, and the... More

A very basic hotel with no television, no in room internet, no hairdryer and no kettle but we were only here for one night and for one reason so that's fine. Building itself looked like school dorms, the room was pretty small (I was in room F625) *noticed the F in front they are different blocks!* For NO$450 per person... More

Rica Hotel Nordkapp is a very basic hotel, however the overall service was superb, and the food was exellent. You pay for what you get, and both me and my wife was very satified.

I stayed at this hotel while on a cosmos tour. Well actually did not stay at this hotel as we were shunted off to another site (I hesitate to call it a hotel) four km out of town. There is no public transport option to go into town.  The building looked like it had been abandoned or some time with... More
