Stayed two nights during a conferance. Arrived by taxi from Asker trainstation - about 10 minutes by cab, around 150 NOK (25 USD). Arrived early in the morning, but the hotel could not provide me with a room at the time of arrival. +: nice pool, staff friendly . -: Horrible rooms. Smelly, and not very clean. Had to change room once because of fungilike smell, but the room I was provided the 2. time wasn't better. It looked like nothing has been done for 20-30 years when it comes to maintenence. Noisy because of a lot of construction activities going on in the hotels. Food: Ok, but nothing special, chairs in the dining area were all abaout to fall apart.
Total: Far away from Oslo and the little town of Asker. Stay away unless you have to stay there. more
