We are a big family with 3 young children. It is important for us to have a nice hotel which is children friendly with for instance baby chair, baby bed and so on. But we were disappointed by this hotel who is not according to us for families. The rooms and especially the bedroom were not very clean. It is also not very quiet at night. more

Located in the lush, quiet Bensberg part of Bergisch Gladbach, Hotel Malerwinkel offers a very relaxing stay for both tourists and business travellers.

The hotel consists of three renovated traditional "Fachwerk" houses. Breakfast is served in the winter garden and offers a nice choice of food and beverages. The rooms themselves are very comfortable, with a mix of modern and traditional architecture, flat-screen HDTV and comfortable bathrooms.

Bensberg is a very relaxing town with some nice sights (the castle, the medieval town hall) and a lot of hiking/cycling opportunities.

For business travellers, it's located close to Leverkusen and Cologne yet offers a very restful atmosphere. Good food can be had at the nearby "Enoteca" restaurant. Do book a table in advance, though... more
