Lovely place to stay, great rooms and facilities all-round, very relaxing stop. Cyclist-friendly with covered storage. Very kind hosts who had everything well organized for us including a GENEROUS, and tasty, home-made multi-course meal complete with a rather fine bottle of red wine.

An absolutely wonderful location with ideal accommodation. We were a group of four middle aged men starting out on a road trip through France in two vintage Jowett cars and a more recent classic Aston Martin. The welcome was personal and perfect. The owners son, Pierre, eagerly helped sort out problems with the Aston and on the second day there... More

We were 3 guys cycling from London to Paris (2 Brits and 1 American) in May 2015, and this was our final overnight stay before Paris itself. This Gite/B&B is on the Donald Hirsch route, but also not far off of the official Avenue Route, so a great stopping point for either route. It is hard to believe this gem... More

This 600-year-old farm in the Val d'Oise makes a perfect B&B for those who wish to experience peace, quiet, and very welcoming hosts. Spent 4 nights there to visit nearby friends and found our room comfortable (though small), breakfasts delicious, and other guests quite friendly. A short walk through 2 horse pastures led to the home of our local friends--couldn't... More

I spent 6 days at La Ferme Rose - the rooms are large and clean with comfortable beds, bathrooms modern, hair dryer provided. Owners could not have been nicer and breakfast was lovely. It is a way to really experience the beautiful French countryside. We went in late April and the weather was beautiful - there is a forest right... More

Beautiful setting, not far from Paris. We were a group of 6 women cycling The Donald Hirsch route. We had opted to self cater and Clare very kindly did the shopping for us in advance including making us a lemon meringue pie which was delicious. We loved our self contained unit, were able to cook, drink, do our washing, sleep... More

It is a great bed and breakfast in a beautiful, rural setting. We stayed for one night following a 95 mile cycle ride from Dieppe, on the way to Paris. There was plenty of space in the barn to store the bikes. The beautiful old farm house is situated minutes from the main road, in a great location, but still... More

We were a party of 8 cycling the Donald Hirsch route to Paris from Dieppe and stayed for just one night in La Ferme Rose. It is exceptionally well located for the route, affords a lovely setting and the building itself is full of character. However, the accommodation and owners attitude to running the business appeared 'tired'. Accommodation is basic... More

Thank you for sharing your views and comments. I'm truly sorry that you didn't appreciate your stay with us. Your remark about a "tired" attitude may well be justified, and I apologize. I am not young and do indeed get very tired at the end of a grueling 4 month season with no day off. But of course this is... More

We stayed at the Ferme for a night on the way to Paris. The place is very convenient for the route from Dieppe, but might be resting on its limited laurels a little. Claire, the owner, didn't seem terribly welcoming and there was an overall air of 'get them in, get them out again'. Maybe it's always thus at the... More

We stayed in this rustic B&B on the dieppe to Paris cycle ride. Our bikes were housed in a drawing room, and our bedroom and bathroom were large and comfortable, There was a good breakfast the next day (and we wishes we had eaten in the B&B rather than a local restaurant).
