Beautiful setting, not far from Paris. We were a group of 6 women cycling The Donald Hirsch route. We had opted to self cater and Clare very kindly did the shopping for us in advance including making us a lemon meringue pie which was delicious. We loved our self contained unit, were able to cook, drink, do our washing, sleep... More

It is a great bed and breakfast in a beautiful, rural setting. We stayed for one night following a 95 mile cycle ride from Dieppe, on the way to Paris. There was plenty of space in the barn to store the bikes. The beautiful old farm house is situated minutes from the main road, in a great location, but still... More

We were a party of 8 cycling the Donald Hirsch route to Paris from Dieppe and stayed for just one night in La Ferme Rose. It is exceptionally well located for the route, affords a lovely setting and the building itself is full of character. However, the accommodation and owners attitude to running the business appeared 'tired'. Accommodation is basic... More

Thank you for sharing your views and comments. I'm truly sorry that you didn't appreciate your stay with us. Your remark about a "tired" attitude may well be justified, and I apologize. I am not young and do indeed get very tired at the end of a grueling 4 month season with no day off. But of course this is... More

We stayed at the Ferme for a night on the way to Paris. The place is very convenient for the route from Dieppe, but might be resting on its limited laurels a little. Claire, the owner, didn't seem terribly welcoming and there was an overall air of 'get them in, get them out again'. Maybe it's always thus at the... More

Thanks for sharing your views and comments; I'm truly sorry that you didn't appreciate your stay with us. I think you probably arrived at a difficult time for me, with urgent things to be done in regard to the preparation of your evening meal… I work alone and have not yet found a way to be in two places at... We stayed in this rustic B&B on the dieppe to Paris cycle ride. Our bikes were housed in a drawing room, and our bedroom and bathroom were large and comfortable, There was a good breakfast the next day (and we wishes we had eaten in the B&B rather than a local restaurant).

We stayed (20 of us cycling to Paris) at La Ferme Rose. Some of the property is being renovated so the main group stayed in dorms in the main house. We were lucky to have our own room in one of the converted outbuildings upstairs. The room was classic french farmhouse 'shabby chic' style with brand new bathrooms, I am... More

We stayed in the Ferme en route to Paris and received a truly wonderful and warm welcome from the English owner. The bedroom was perfect for us and the dinner that night was really good and fun to eat with the family. A great place to stay ii you are cycling to Paris.
