The hotel choice in Hameenlinna is not huge. I have stayed in a few in town and find the Emilia to be the best choice. It is very clean, nice bar and morning breakfast! The Emilia has a central location, everything is in walking distance!

I've been in this hotel time to time about 10 times during years. Price-quality is good. No luxury but a well functioning city hotel, Bar in downstairs is nice and You can get something small to eat. For bigger meals You can go out and walk a minute. Breakfast is OK.

Little hotel in the absolute centre of the city. Walking distance to Bus-station, Market Place, Castle. A bit worn in interior, bathroom very little. Breakfeast room a bit too dark; breakfeast ok. Not for vacation or romance, but You`ll sleep good enough!

I stayed for one night on the fifth floor. Pros: Very peaceful during the night, I guess there were not a lot of guests staying at that time. Very clean, simple and nicely decorated rooms. Very good location at the center of the town. Cons: You can hear the toilet noises from other rooms (if there are other guests).
