Stayed in this hotel for one night in October 2013. The room was smallish but clean. The same applied to the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was nothing fancy but comprised a reasonably wide selection of both cold and hot foods. The reception area was minuscule and there was no real lobby. The staff were friendly and helpful. I reserved a... More

This cozy family business has the friendliest staff, comfy rooms with good air condition (needed sometimes even in Finland), and a pleasing breakfast which was included in the already-very-competitive... Nice place with some drawbacks: The hotel's bar on the street might generate discomfort (noise and loud music), bathroom are a bit old. General cleanliness is good, the devil is in the details (our window was covered with birds' poop). Last but not least, the breakfast room is "fancy" as located in the hotel's bar-disco.

No complains! Friendly staff, clean room, clean bathroom, free wifi and a good quality breakfast - what else one can need? Our car was safe in the warm carage and because the central location it was easy to make an evening stroll in the city.

THE thing in this hotel is the really good service, everything was really smoothly organized all the way from reserving to the check-out. Staff was helpful, smiling and really professional. Rooms were OK, a bit outdated bathrooms perhaps, but otherwise clean and neat. Hotels little lobby-bar gave a sophisticated feeling to the place. Breakfast was really complete and everything was... Easy to find right in the centre of town. Only a little check in area but did what was needed with pleasant staff member. Lift, corridor and rooms felt like something from the 80's. Room was small and so was bathroom area. Breakfast area was below reception in some sort of pub, but it worked and had enough variety to... More

The hotel is very central. small room but comfortable. Breakfast was various and there were so many things to eat. Free wifi. I remember warm duvet but not sofocating like in other hotels. We had to create a double bed, cause there were a night table between the two beds, but it was easy and it wasn't promised in the... More

We have tried to prefer smaller hotels lately to see if there's any difference between big chain hotels and smaller ones. In this case there wasn't. Room: The room was a little bit over average: the room itself was renovated and Finnish Marimekko textile made a nice personal touch. Air condition is also something we prefer. Bathroom was in the... This hotel was an unexpected pleasant surprise. This turned out to be the least expensive hotel we stayed in during a trip in southern Finland and northern Estonia. However, it was quite nice. The room was clean & quiet, and the (free) wifi worked well. The complimentary breakfast buffet was quite nice, with all the typical Scandanavian standards included. The... More

Overall this is good hotel by Finnish/Nordic standards - rooms smaller, two single beds pushed together to create a double bed, etc. This is listed as a boutique hotel with rooms decorated with the local Finnish designer fabrics Marimekko which it does have but overall not to the level I was expecting for something different with local charm. The staff... More
