Don't get us wrong this is not a bad bad motel it just needs a lift in all the right places. First of all it could benefit from a good clean in places such as the tops of the ceiling fan and slightly smelly open vented shower drain. Fixtures and fittings dated. More of an issue of attention to detail.... More

Thank you for your review although I feel you have been pretty harsh considering we struck up such friendly common ground. You've stated "not really that close to other amenities, forget Noosaville township altogether, too far away" which is puzzling. All of Noosa is contained within a 4 kilometre radius with Noosaville smack in the centre, with some of the... More

The rooms are huge and spacious, the location is great with the river in a stone throw. The main town is about 2km away, but other ammenities are with in walking distance. Check In on a Sunday is after 4pm. The rooms are clean and modern. Has free wifi, and a large tv. The room we had had a micro... More

Been here every time I've passed through Noosa... Clean rooms, free wifi, great price - good if you're looking for something more economical but still up-to-date. Very accommodating owner - friendly to deal with. Called after closing time to book a room - very helpful. Great find.

Centrally located between Noosa Heads and Noosaville the Anchor Motel is very convenient to eateries, shopping centres and Noosa's famed Sunday farmers market. Plenty of privacy with one's own balcony or courtyard and a very nice pool area which sadly I didn't get to sample. Would recommend as a low cost alternative to Noosa's more expensive upmarket offerings.

This motel is the cleanest and most spacious I have stayed in. I travel all over Australia for work and pleasure and this motel is truly a 4 star rating, unlike a lot of hotels/motels that make this claim. Very friendly and informative manager as well.

I stayed for one night at the Anchor Motel having booked a double room online, and paid online. I was informed upon checking in that there was an extra single bed in the room but that we would be charged for a double only, as that is what we booked. Rooms was fine and clean. Upon checking out I was... More

We apologise if we caused a misunderstanding. Most guests realise the charge for three persons will be more than for two people using an extra bed. The writer states: "I was informed upon checking in that there was an extra single bed in the room but that we would be charged for a double only, as that is what we... More
