We were a little concerned about staying here after reading trip advisor reviews but we need not have worried. Yes the rooms are relatively basic however for this price you should not be expecting a luxery hotel. Our room was immaculate, well equipped, cleaned daily and very spacious. The manager and receptionist were polite and helpful and gave us good... More

Attended the Noosa Winter festival. Went for a low cost option on the night before the event then upgraded to the Sheraton on the Saturday. It was reasonably priced and clean. The female manager/owner forgot to take her happy pills. Always amazes me when people choose to go into hospitality then do anything but turn on the charm. "Are you... More

I have recently stayed at the Anchor Motel for the second time & was not disappointed! The rooms are beautifully appointed, the management very friendly, the cost per night very reasonable & it is within easy reach of the restaurants of Noosaville. I would highly recommend this place to anyone & look forward to a return visit soon. More

Great little place to stay- walking distance to the main town/dinner area, and right down the road from the best fish and chips we've ever had! The couple/owners who greeted us on arrival were very helpful amd friendly! Pool area is lovely. Will definitely return! Thanks again! More

Stayed at this motel recently. Can' t understand why it got such a top rating from Lonely Planet. It is 3 kms from Noosa and the public transport on the Sunshine Coast is both bad and expensive. A taxi into Noosa costs me about $10 in the evening. Coming home after midnight it was closer to $15. It was Rate... More

We have stayed at The Anchor Motel countless times and everytime we've enjoyed our stay thoroughly! The owners are on site all the time to handle and requests/enquiries. The cleaning lady (I forget her name) is brilliant, she was so quick to clean up our spilt sugar that we spilt all down the side of the cupboard! We live in... More

My 9 year old son and I stayed at this motel for a night in January 2012 and were more than happy with our choice. Our standard room was spacious, extremely clean, very comfortable and well appointed. The motel surrounds including pool, spa and bbq facilities were attractive and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning swim. The motel is... More

We stayed at The Anchor Motel for 2 nights and were very happy with our choice. We were given a free upgrade to a larger room which was very clean. The swimming pool was a big bonus. We would stay here again if we are ever in the area. More

My husband and I stayed here for just over a week as we were traveling around Australia and we absolutely loved it. The rooms have clearly all been renovated and our room was spotlessly cleaned everyday. The staff were also extremely helpful and they definitely went the extra mile by preparing the BBQ for us, and even setting the table... More

The positives: the rooms are large and clean. The air conditioning worked well, there was free parking and also free wi-fi. The negatives: the owners are just so rude. My husband phoned up the day before to enquire if there was any chance we may be able to secure an early check-in as we had a wedding that afternoon. He... More

We disagree that we were rude and we disagree that these guests were pleasant. The inititial phone call from these guests did not come across as a request more of a demand. Guests are never told to "Just drop by at 1pm". As indicated we have numerous requests for Early Check-in which has resulted in us keeping a strict 2pm... More
