You are paying for the location (peace and quiet) on Lake Weyba, we thought it a little overpriced for the cottage alone (Cormorant) which was very pleasant but certainly not luxurious (if that is what you are after) and the whole cottage shook when anyone walked on the balcony which was a bit disconcerting. Everything worked (except the toaster, which... More

Dear Jodie L Thanks for your feedback. It is always great to read the individual appraisals by our guests of our eco retreat. As you say for discerning souls like yourself wanting to avoid those run of-the-mill concrete apartment blocks, private boutique absolute lakefront accommodation is a premium commodity. Good on you for getting out and about adventuring on the... More

Two sisters and their husbands, we have travelled the world together, but we are never complacent about the beauty of our own country. Eumarella Shores has twice now been our destination for a short break, and it did not fail to deliver. Accommodation in the Studio cottage left nothing to be desired. A cosy fire was burning when we arrived... More

Dear Marg P Your review makes me want to stay at Eumarella Shores too! Your weekend away sounded fantastic. Our aim is to make our guests stay as enjoyable as we possibly can. Little touches like chilled champagne and on brisk winter afternoons, the lighting of fires so that the accommodation is cozy and warm, is all part of our... More

If you are after true chill out time but want to be close to all that is Noosa then this is the place. I know what happens sometimes when we go away wanting just peace and quiet but then we end up saying 'I'm bored'. But this was not the case here as I had lots to keep me entertained... More

Dear T - Templeman Your great feedback is most appreciated. Good recommendations to share too about picking up some of Noosa’s gourmet treats and then simply chilling out, sharing some quality time with someone special. We have plenty of recommendations for gourmet providores around the area that we are happy to share, or why not pre-order one of our scrumptious... More

Stayed for two nights in " Alice's garden " and when driving in to the retreat were worried as it looked more like a two star than the four and a half star advertised! The cabin actually was very nice inside and although not luxurious was clean, spacious and comfortable with a wood burning fire, wood provided. Also two bathrooms... More

Dear DianneMiddx Pleased to hear after arriving at our eco retreat via the meandering driveway through our nature refuge, that our accommodation and location surpassed your expectations. Our focus is indeed offering our guests peace and quiet in a natural environment, complete with native wildlife in the front yard, and of course one of Noosa’s beautiful lake’s right at your... We loved our stay here. We stayed in one of the luxury lakehouses. Even though our view of the lake was obscured you could constantly here the swishing sound of the lake against the shore and the wind among the trees which was a lovely sound to listen to while relaxing on the lounge or in bed. The daybed against... More

Dear andrewandjoanne2010 Relaxing on the daybed enjoying the peace and serenity sounds fantastic! Glad to hear you made the most of your week’s stay. I agree the sounds of the lake lapping is a very restful sound that appeals to me more than the sound of the crashing surf. The rustle of the trees is also a soothing sound but... More

The first contact at the reception was extremely cold & unwelcoming. The accommodation view and location was lovely, but the constant drip from the toilet was like water torture for an entire week and the outside door not being able to lock was a constant worry, not something you need when you want to relax on a holiday! and again... Dear Kym P We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear you enjoyed the view and location of your cottage, but apologise that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Your very early arrival meant that staff were out of the office preparing all accommodation ready for the usual 2pm arrival time and were caught unaware... More

Did the right thing rang up before booking, "walk from deck to jetty", ha 25 steps down to jetty. Air conditioning, didnt cool cottage regardless of closing all doors and blinds. Different lights not work. Very low lounge, sat on barstools while there. Caution needed as on entering shower slipped, thankfully husband grabbed me. Have stayed in 5 to one... More

Dear Donna B Thanks for your feedback and your complimentary comments on the design of our bespoke luxury lakehouse, which as you guessed is the absolute favorite of many of our regular guests. Normally I would stay at Montville or Maleny but we wanted something different. This was just what we needed. We stayed for 3 days and while the prices are pretty high I still think it is value for money. All the people having a go that you didn't see the staff during your stay it was the same for us... Saw this advertised online and thought it would be a lovely romantic getaway for my husband and me. What a shock for us when we got there. We were shown to our 'Musty' cabin with its dusty, dirty carpet. In real need of a fix up. Nothing like it was advertised. Would never stay there again. Manager was hardly ever... More
