The Perfect getaway. Special mention to the complimentary welcome breakfast pack we received on arrival, which is just what we needed after a long drive - milk, cereal, home made chocolates, fruit juices etc... A very well thought out surprise. Location: We love the beach but this had its own unique and peaceful identity. Tucked away in a nature reserve... More

We're from Melbourne and went up to have a 4 day get away. We stumbled on Lake Eumarella while looking for places to stay in Noosa. If you want to be close to Noosa, but not in the middle of it all this is the place to be. It was such a lovely experience. Our cabin was "Gentle Jane", it... More

We enjoyed a quiet week-end in a deluxe lakehouse (buonovista?). The brekky provisions provided were more than adequate for the two days. Beautifully designed house with everything you need for a comfortable stay. My only criticism is the height of the TV - too highly placed for comfortable viewing -gave us neck pains - but we did not need to... More

We stayed at Driftwood and it was true to the website. Very good house with private foreshore to Lake Weyba and stunning view, but quite cold in winter in the bedrooms. Lots of food in fridge and cupboard provided beyond our expectation. Unfortunately our stay was a bit spoilt by the snake just next to our ramp. We are not... More

Lovely location and feels like we were back to nature.. With the kangaroo in the backyard at times. We got the air conditioned unit but it's actually only in the living room. There were a few nights where sleep was impossible as it was so humid and warm. If I know I'm paying extra for the living room air con... More

Our second time here and not disappointed. Serene views over Lake Weyba and only the sound of birds in the mornings. A fire for warmth at night. Will be back. We have stayed in Cormarant and Gentle Jane and can recommend both.

A seven day stay which we extended to eight (preferring the peace and nature to the towers of Maroochydor). Everything perfect - position, peacefulness, close to Noosa, access to lake, birds and kangaroos, sunrise across the lake, the noise of the distant surf at night, paddles on the lake to visit the pelicans - unimprovable. Only problem is that when... More

My family and I spent five nights in a 2 bedroom lakeside cottage. It was such a peaceful and serene place to stay. You are surrounded by bushland and can see kangaroos and birds right out your window. All the cottages have their own access to the lake with jetty and or seating area. You can swim, fish and canoe... More

We lucked onto Eumarella Shores a few years ago looking for a holiday destination to escape a Melbourne winter and have already been back. It's perfect for those who are looking for self contained, serene, comfortable accommodation in a natural setting, which is exactly what we were after. We love the older style Queenslander cottages, they are a little more... More

We stayed at the cottages for our honeymoon . I took a lot of time researching where to spend our time as I only had a short amount of time . We decided that we didn't want to waste time travelling overseas but wanted a private setting to just spend our honeymoon. I can honestly say we were glad to... More
