It's an OK place, but nothing special. However as there's a limited amount of available beds in Noosa, they are bound to be booked out. The receptionist girl (dauther of the parents, who own the hostel) was resistent for any feedback or improvement ideas and didn't understand the difference between a formal complaint and feedback to improve the overall customer... This hostel was perfect, nice staff perfect location. Rooms was really clean and the bathrooms was really fresh. There is free shuttle that takes you to the city and picka you up there to. The neiborhood is quiet and felt really safe. Loved our stay here. And free wifi that actully works really good.

The downfalls are - far from the town centre, courtesy bus only runs from the hostel to bus station, the town a further 20min walk. Staff are rude, not helpful in anyway. The woman who picked is up looked as if she hated to work there with a not a hello or a smile when greeting us at the bus.... More

This hostel is really well set up with bedrooms off communal areas that have a kitchen and bathroom so facilities are really easy and convenient to use. The beds are so comfy! It's got a really relaxed feel to it and there are loads of hammocks and decks and there was incense burning when we were there which was very... More

Dolphins is tucked away from all the hassle of hastings street/ junction up the road near Sunshine beach. I stayed three days and had a super relaxing time. It's only 5mins to beautiful sunshine beach from which you can go up to the national park. You only have small (4/5 bed) dorms seperated into units, two dorms sharing a spacious... More

Much better than than nomads down the road. Air con in room , free wifi and amazing chill out areas a few minutes walk from the beach. Had to go to nomads after dolphin and can certainly say I really wanted go back . Also tv areas and kitchen areas for every 8 people. Recommend this place to anyone ,... More

Staff were friendly but the number of rules enforced at this hostel gave it a slightly unwelcoming feel. Also had some of our perfectly good food thrown out - a bit of common sense would go far! However, the hostel itself is reasonably clean and rooms have pretty decent air con!

Fantastic hostel with great staff. After staying in a few 'chain' hostels, Dolphins certainly does have charm and character. The hostel bus picked me up, and made sure they did all they could to help me out with arranging 2 extra nights stay as the travel company I booked a tour with was cancelled. (Saved me a lot of headaches).... More

The nice thing about this place is that the staff are really friendly, it's easy to meet other travellers, and it's a little out of Noosa itself so it's quiet too. Having said that the aircon in the rooms doesn't always work, and one bathroom between 10 people isn't great. Not sure I'd stay again

We recently had our third visit to Dolphin's in as many years and were disappointed with how the hostel has really lost its charm, mainly due to the owners who are clearly fed up with hosting backpackers. As a group of thirty-somethings staying in private rooms, we certainly weren't looking for a 'party hostel' however the level of rules placed... More
