We stayed at the resort for a week over Christmas in December 2008 with our two children aged 8 and 2. The resort is beautiful, with gorgeous tropical gardens and 3 very nice swimming pools and spas, which were really well designed for the kids. We had a 2 bed apartment which was very large and nicely decorated, had tv,... more

We are regular visitors to Noosa and have always overlooked this resort mainly due to its location. We have also heard in the past that this is kid central. We have just returned from a few nights over the Christmas period, we stayed in Hawaii. We booked a few months ago and got a great rate for this busy period... more

After booking this accommodation i read the reviews on this website - If you too have read them then you will understand why i thought i had made a huge mistake. I am soooooo glad they were totally wrong. Our room was so bright, airy and clean and certainly didn't need an overhaul as one review suggested. Yes the bathrooms... more

My husband and I stayed at the South Pacfic in November 2006. We had booked a 1br apartment, but upon arrival found out we'd been allocated a 2br apartment with ensuite at no extra cost. We stayed in the Cook Islands area and our apartment was on the top floor overlooking the pool which was lovely. Gympie Terrace was a... more

Booked through Wotif and then read a terrible review on tripadviser. To say was worried was a understatement. My hubby and myself was put into the NZ group of appartments which was a lovelly spacious and spotless two rooms overlooking one of the beautiful group of pools.I actually felt sorry for the girls at reception as I mentioned they should look... more

My husband and I recently stayed at the South Pacific for 7 nights and whilst the pool area is lovely - the rooms are in bad need of a makeover and are very dated. We thought we were staying in a resort and the 4.5 star rating is a joke. The apartments are a mixture of permanent residents and holiday... more

I have to say I really wasn't that impressed. While the name suggests a resort, they go out of their way to inform you that they are NOT a hotel, they are a set of self-catering apartments. (As outlined in their welcome letter upon check in) If you can get the room for under $110 AU, it's acceptable value, anything... more

This was a lovely resort with a light airy and spacious apartment. The grounds were superb but it was quite a distance from eating places, shops etc lucky we had hired a car I did object to the charge for another towel if we used the pool though we went to the supermarket and bought 2 for the same price.We... more

We stayed at this resort for 7 nights. Check-in went smoothly and we were allocated a car parking spot. Our 1 bedroom apartment was in the Haiwain building which was a great location. Nice feel to the place (although the shower looked REALLY dated it was a strong and warm shower!). the facilities were great - 4 pools which were... more

What a magic place to stay. We were in Noosa for a friends wedding so shared the apartment with two other friends. We had a ball. Brilliant pools, spa's and room. Didn't want to leave. The gardens are cared for, the pool is looked after and the room was fantastic. more
