Stayed here late Sept 2014. Friendly staff. The welcome meeting at 6pm was lovely. Clean rooms and showers. No sockets in room but reception were happy to charge your electronics for free. I love where it is located. very short walk to the beach and shops. nice to have a place near the beach but feels like you're in the... More

myself and my friend stayed at halse lodge for the last three days and to say we're happy with the experience doesn't explain how amazing our time was. All of the staff were amazing and the vibe around the hostel was amazing. Thank you Halse lodge :)

This hostel is a beautiful old building with a three minute walk from the lovely beach and approximately ten minute walk to the national park. On arrival you are collected from the bus station by the YHA shuttle. You are greeted by very friendly staff. The hostel do a welcome meeting every night for new arrivals, helping you meet fellow... Easy walk to the beach and shops in 2min. Beautiful building with a unique beach charm. Yes, the restaurant is expensive, but its also delicious and it isn't meant for the backpackers exclusively. The staff ensure a great community vibe, and the set up makes it easy to meet new people. Definitely enjoyed Noosa!

Arriving at Halse lodge we were warmly greeted by Sarah and Stacey on reception. From then on they ensured we had a great stay. Room was beautiful- love the stained glass windows! Bed was comfortable and the hostel was quiet all night. The restaurant was fantastic. We attended happy hour (and a half) along with fellow guests AND locals. This... More

Awesome hostel with a good vibe, nice rooms and a perfect restaurant. The restaurant maybe a bit expensive for the "real" backpackers, but if you want a decent meal definitely check it out! The 16 dorm room is very spacious and feels more like an eight dorm room. It has an nice veranda and a shower and a toilet.

Beautiful Queenslander building run in a no-nonsense hostel manner. Expensive for what you get but it's location, location, location - you can walk barefoot to one of the world's best beaches in a couple of minutes. We took a double room for $88, it was clean and quiet, had a power point and bonus water dragons outside the window. The... More

The lodge was recommended by a friend I met while travelling. It was in a great location in noosa. Close to the beach and national park trails. The building itself was cool. Even the 16 person guesthouse was good. Staff was friendly and guests were given a free introductory meeting each night with a free glass of wine each for... More

We stayed here in our campervan (15bucks pp) so can't comment on the rooms but everything else was great. Well equipped kitchen with a balcony for you to eat your food. The bar/shared area is so nice with big comfy chairs. Cheap and fast wifi too.
