Coming to noosa we had heard great things about this hostel and it was actually really nice. We called up about a week in advance and asked to be put in the cheapest room as we were staying for 4 nights. 2 of our friends decided to join us last minute and called up on the day to book. They... More

Wearrived in Noosa and were picked up by the YHA mini bus and straight to Halse lodge where the beautiful building looked exactly like the photos i had viewed on tripadvisor. We were booked to stay in a 16 bed dorm (biggest dorm we have stayed in) and i was a bit nervous that it would be busy and over... More

Fabulous 10 day stay at Noosa, the staff incredibly helpful and accommodating especially Stacey, Amanda and Baz! Would thoroughly recommend it! This is your not your typical hostel more like a lodge but great value!

I stayed at this hostel for one night. In 5 bed female dorm. It's a really nice hostel in a really old and cool building. They have their own bar, and really big and nice common areas. The location is great with the city centre just down the hill. The kitchen and bathrooms are really nice!

This hostel is unlike the other yhas. The walls were like paper and I couldnt sleep as it was so noisy. The floors were really dirty in my room and no lockers for safe storage. Also the kitchen has two stoves and one microwave which is not nearly enough for a large hostel. Over breakfast we were all fighting over... More

I stayed recently for two nights. I really enjoyed my stay. The hostel is a very short walk from everything Noosa has to offer. I did find Noosa to cater more for families and older people but It still didn't disappoint. The hostel is very quirky with a mix of real nice antique furniture with a mix of modern fixtures.

YHA here was amazing! So close to the beach, literally a 2 minute walk! The rooms were adorable and very open. Loved the couches upstairs. Everything was very clean and livable. Only problem is that there aren't lockers in some rooms and limited plug ins for chargers. Other than that it was incredible. They also have a welcome meeting to... More

First stay at a YHA hostel, didn't disappoint! We arrived and were picked up early off the greyhound and couldn't check in until later but didn't mind this at all as the hostel is right next the beach so we just chilled there while we waited. There's also an area upstairs with sofas and stuff where you can sit down... More

Really cute, the rooms where very clean and space efficient, staff were friendly and helpful. However no socket plugs in the rooms where the only downfall. But overall very nice experience and if in noosa it's worth a visit

After 17 months in Australia I can say without hesitation that this is the best hostel accommodation in the country that I have encountered. More of a bed and breakfast atmosphere than a backpackers with a staff that are so helpful and sweet that it borders on the ridiculous (in the nicest way) The rooms are clean and bright, that...
