After 5 fairly hectic days in Sydney, it was lovely to come up to Applegarth and relax .I can only repeat what has been written before. As we drew up, 4 wallabies were in the garden to welcome us! Plus a laughing Kookaburra or two. Steve and Margaret were both very friendly and hospitable. The room was very spacious and... More

I was more than frazzled on Christmas Eve 2012 - I was a basket case! That all changed next day when I arrived at Applegarth (Noosa). Margaret and Steve welcomed me with: "Make yourself at home.", so I did. Just one look at my lovely light and airy room with its pristine en-suite, TV, i-pod dock and air conditioning, and... More

My husband and I enjoyed our two nights at Applegarth and wished we could have stayed longer. Steve and Margaret were delightful hosts, full of wonderful conversation and stories to swap. The breakfast menu was amazing, and don't miss Steve's home crafted muesli which was amazing! He should sell it to go! The wallabies and rainbow lorikeets were joined by... More

This B&B is so warm and comfortable with such friendly hosts it felt like home. Located just outside the buzz of Noosa in a uniquely tranquil environment. The wildlife is stunning, a diverse array of native birds literally eat out of your hand while wallabies lazily observe from the shade of eucalyptus trees. The accomodation is very relaxing with all... More

Applegarth is everything that previous guests have said and more. We too enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the verandah in the company of the birds and were priveleged to watch the wallabies grazing in the garden in the evening. The bed was comfortable and the shower room good. In addition our host was extremely welcoming and provided a lot of... More

I have never before eaten my breakfast while a few feet away , Wallabies doze and graze on the lawn below the balcony, and the owners were busy hand feeding a wide variety of birds, including Kookaburras, magpies and Lorikeets. As to the house itself , all I can say is a lot of far more pretensious places could learn a... More

This is not your typical B&B. It has one room for rent which is attached to the owners house and has an outside entrance. There is no lobby or other common area inside the house to lounge in. The room is very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was probably the best we had in Australia, not counting the buffet at... More

If you are looking for a real Aussie experience: beautiful Queenslander house nestled in the bush, relaxed Aussie hosts and 'Rocky' the local kangoroo hopping through the garden, then visit Applegarth. My daughter and I had the most relaxing two days there. Comfortable and homely facilities and just a short drive to the attractions of Noosa. We'll certainly be going... More

Spent 2 nights at this lovely B&B with my daughter in August. Steve, the friendly owner, could not have been more helpful. From supplying a pile of sandwiches and a large pot of tea on our arrival, to answering any questions we had regarding the area (banks, places to eat, day trips, etc). The room is spotless with a very... More
