I had 3 beautiful days. Really restfull, in the middle of the nature on the campsite and canoeing through the Everglades. You've to make some out of it yourself because there is not much to do, but if you like being in the nature shouldn't that be a problem. And otherwise you can just watch some movies:) The dorm and... This is one stop you do not want to make even if a travel agent offers it to you for free. TRUST ME when I say its not worth your time and money. Reasons: 1. The camp is dirty, in he middle of no where and have nothing for you to do. You stay in a dorm and/or tent. Dorms... More

Honestly the worst experience of my life. If you are planning on sleeping in a bug infested, unorganized, unsanitary, and uncomfortable conditions then this is the place for you! Run by only men who don't respect any emergency medical needs and would not give a refund even after spending only one day in hideous boredom and disgusting conditions. They advertise... More

After being told this is a free trip by a certain travel agents that only incurs a small park cost, it turned out that all was a lie because the price is consistent with any person visiting the camp. The time we had was very average and the kayaking is boring at best. The real problem for us was that... More

I hated my time at Gagaju and so did the other 2 people I was with. We had 3 nights at the camp but only stayed 2. Luckily we had a camper van because it flooded the night before we arrived. We were suppose to stay in the bunks on the first night but they were full because of the... More

Gagaju was a really interesting experience. The guy who owns the place told us that it would be what we made it and he was totally right. The place itself isn't all that, the bathroom was a bit crap and the dorm was pretty scary but it's the bush! The people who own it are nice enough and up for... More

Well, if rats in your bed, holes in your luggage, snakes in the cupboards and hundreds of Moskitoe bites is your thing then go there! If not then don't waste 50 dollars. The canoeing is self guided and there's also a risk of being stung by stingrays. There is pretty much no customer service which you will notice if you... More

I'm traveling now since 17 months around Australia and that was really the worst place ever. I got a package to do the typical places along the east coast like Fraser Island and Whitsunday as it was a bit cheaper and got that stay for "free". You've been told that you will need to pay $50 for the national park... More

If I could give this 'trip' 0 out of 5 I would of done. This was the worse camp ever. The staff were absolutely appalling. They took no responsibility and took no for our safety, The guy drew a map in the sand with a stick as to where we were to canoe to! And that was it. We went... More
