We stayed one night in an unpowered site and enjoyed our short time here. The sites are generous, located just over a sand dune from a glorious white beach. Fishing is a popular activity here. The amenities were well looked after and unlike many places we have stayed at provided hand washing foam and paper towels. It would be a... More

After driving slowly on corrugated road, we were passed by an idiot in a landcruiser doing 80+kph, showering us in dust and rocks, when we arrived at reception, he was just heading to his cabin, no regard for kids walking around, again doing excessive speed. When we mentioned to receptionist, she couldn't care less, and rudely asked what we wanted,... More

This is a well laid out and well run caravan park. The powered and unpowered sites are grassed and some are shaded, the new trees are growing as fast as they can! The shop has essential supplies and cooked meals are available. Beach fishing is popular at high tide, beach combing is a delight at low tide.

We stayed on a non powered site away from everyone, it was beautiful. The beach is gorgeous and there are lots of pretty shells. So quiet and peaceful at night, could have stayed here for months. The kids thought that it was great too, especially the burger and hot chips night.

Eighty Mile beach caravan park packs people in which in the middle of nowhere is fine. They run out of powered sites every day in peak time, this suits us as unpowered sites were plentiful. Best hot showers soooo hot and good pressure great cubicles. Activities there mainly discounted meals, etc as this park really caters for the oldies and... More

Whilst on a motorcycle trip around Australia our stay @ this caravan park was our 33rd stop and it was a welcome one. We stayed in one of the cabins and arrived on a Wednesday afternoon, to the sound of live music. Unbeknown to us, Wednesday was 'market day' and there were a selection of campers / caravaner's selling their... More

Well run, grassy sites, reasonably priced, amenities spot-on, handy shop (ice cream by the scoop!), one small dune away from the famous Eighty Mile Beach. A fantastic stop. Don't be put off by the 10km of dirt road - we are non-4wd and did it slowly, steadily and successfully. A winner.

Can't say anything bad. Good camping and good cabin facilities. Good general store with lifted but good food for lunches and dinners. Price for family cabin was $190 but had double bedroom plus twin beds in separate bedroom. Good stove, microwave and fridge. Couldn't ask for more. Great beach for swimming at high tide or she'll exploring at low tide.

I stayed one night in a self contained cabin and had an opportunity to walk the beach on my own in 45 degree heat. It was amazing! Very sociable at night time when we all went onto the mudflats to watch the sun set. Exceptional photo opportunities provided, that's for sure. Cabin was old and basic but comfortable and clean.... Since the first time I came across Eighty Mile Beach I just knew I had to go there. The road in to the park is a bit adventurous, at least if you're in 2WD which we were. It's an unsealed road which is pretty much corrugated all the way, roughly 10 kilometers. It took us quite some time to get... More
