Well, what a peaceful place. Due to an infestation at another nearby cottage (Beedelup) booked months in advance, we were trying to find somewhere to stay at the last minute, driving from place to place. The owners were really hospitable and the cottage was clean, private and lovely.. surrounded by some beautiful gardens too. Very well kept - quality accommodation.... more

We spent two nights at Big Brook Cottages, which is located 6 km from the township of Pemberton, and a short distance from Big Brook Dam ($180 per night). Our cottage (#2) was clean, spacious, well equipped and surrounded by a lovely, well tended garden. We enjoyed our stay here – it was peaceful, comfortable and the grounds were just... more

We wanted something better than a motel room, but not a self contained cottage. They now have 2 rooms for bed and breakfast, rammed earth construction with lovely views across fields. Contemporary furnishings, very comfortable with TV if you need to have one. Own bathroom and you share a living area with the other room where you have a breakfast... more

We have just returned from a lovely 4 nights in beautiful Pemberton. The single cottage with a spa was ideal for us as a couple looking at escaping the city and having a peaceful, tranquil few days to ourselves. The cottage was well presented, clean, bed comfortable, spa very nice, ample space and lovely outlook. No complaints ! The cottage... more

From the moment we booked to leaving the cottage and handing back the key everything exceeded our expectations ! Get up in the morning and watch the birds then go for a walk across the road into the forest - do the 50 min walk ! The location is perfect for a lazy relaxing Sunday afternoon ... Head to the... more

I stayed here with my family in two cottages over Christmas 2007 for a week. The cottages are beautifully furnished with excellent facilities for self catering (including a gas bbq), wide verandahs, comfy sofas, good beds and pillows. The birds were prolific, the gardens are spacious with plenty of privacy between each cottage and the hosts Judy and Chris couldn't... more

My partner and I stayed there recently in their spa cottage. The cottage was beautiful, cozy and very clean. The suroundings were so peaceful and beautiful. We had only been there a couple of hours and were already planning our next stay at Big Brook Cottages. I have some candid photos I will post for the cynics who think the... more

A very peaceful setting overlooking Big Brook Forest. Friendly staff who are more than happy to go out of their way or leave you be to enjoy your holiday. Cottages very well appointed (cooking oil appreciated) and spacious. The car port and alfresco area came in handy, although a bit too wet outside for a bbq. It was great to... more
