This is a great place to have a picturesque holiday loaded with outdoor activities. Vouchers can be obtained for the activities. The lakeside cabins ( try to get get a single story cabin) are right on the lake. Staff were international backpackers and were superb, they seemed to genuinely like working there. The only downside is you can hear a... More

The location for Karri Valley Lodge is superb. The lake, and being able to kayak on it, was just beautiful. (although I do think the kayaks should be free when staying on the resort). I loved sitting on the deck of our room, overlooking the lake, enjoying a drink and luring in the birds to share our snacks. BUT the... More

Had our holiday in a 3 bedroom chalet,at $303 a night a bit pricey and would have expected a few things like the microwave not turning and 3 light bulbs not working to be ironed out.I really think it is time to get rid of the mini analog t.v and micro dvd and upgrade . That aside the only other... More

This is truly God's own country and the Karri Valley Resort is a wonderful natural property. The perfect base for enjoying nature as it should be with those towering Karri trees everywhere. You can even fish from your balcony. It's been years since we were there but I feel obliged to tell TA readers how nice it is. It's not... More

We spent one night at Karri Valley Resort on a 4 day guided tour. It was one of the highlights of our tour. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast enjoyable. Waking in the morning to birds on our balcony over the water was magic. It was not modern but clean and warm, just what you would expect... More

We booked a large group for a family weekend away, booked 4x3 bed chalets and dinner in the restaurant. I found getting a response from staff via emails in the planning stage quite frustrating. They blamed 'busy school holidays' for delay. The chalets were fine, beautiful location, heaps of stuff for the kids and kids at heart to do, mostly... More

The setting of Karri Valley Resort is absolutely amazing. This was our second stay 10 years apart and each time the view was breath taking. We stayed in a lakeside room which is unbeatable with 24/7 views and our own private balcony. The food in the restaurant is brilliant and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The activities on... Thank you for your review. We have been told that the internet and mobile coverage will be available in our area in the next 12 months. Even though we are only 4 hours drive from Perth we are still quite remote without the services available in the city. We look forward to welcoming you back to enjoy the natural surrounds. More

We have just returned from our third stay at Karri Valley staying in a two bedroom chalet. We are a family of four with two teenage children and the last time we stayed here was eight years ago. It was a pleasant surprise to see that the chalets had been renovated since then-new carpet, furniture, kitchen and bathroom fittings. Pros:... More

We've just returned from our second stay at Karri Valley Resort, and it won't be our last! We stayed two nights in a lakeside room and the view couldn't be better. It's everything you could want for a quiet get away. The rooms are nice and your own little private deck looking out over the water is great for having... More
