This resort is a bit of a mixed bag. The location is absolutely stunning but the facility range from five star (the restaurant) to something resembling a boy scout camp. We loved walking around the lake among the Karri trees, but found the chalets rustic to say the least. Our five year old loved seeing the many kangaroos. In the... More

This place is about 30 minutes from Pemberton and is very secluded. The accommodation is in all honesty 3 star but the views from your room are 5 star. I stayed in a lake front room and even fished for trout from my balcony. There is an abundance of bird life and plenty of activities for all ages. I stayed... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, for the price I expected a bit more. Breakfast was good, but the dinner was the worst I've had in a restaurant. With a bit of TLC it could be a great place, but at present I will not return.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom chalet for a family get together. The setting is beautiful but the chalet are in need of a bit of TLC! TV's need upgrading as does the carpet. The wood fire had been taken out, another minus as it adds charm and warmth. Roof on the chalet had lots of debris on it and... More

I was fortunate to stay here one night while visiting/touring Western Australia. The room over looking the lake was superb, a great spot for lots of R&R. The trek to the little waterfall was also a nice surprise.

We spent three nights at the Karri Valley. We loved it. A single storey room at the waters edge was perfect for a peaceful stay. The bush walks are really fantastic. Just the right amount of distance and undulations to give a pre breakfast workout. Unfortunately the distance from other restaurants make the Karri Valley restaurant almost obligatory. The restaurant... More

We chose this place as a stop on our road trip because it was right on the water and the rooms looked clean and modern. We had booked in for two nights but when we arrived and saw the room we quickly changed our minds. We tried to reckon with reception for some sort of negotiation of the cancellation fee... More

We have been here several times and the location never fails to impress. If you are looking for a quite, family place to stay then this is it. Chalets are fully self contained, basic but comfy and there is a lot to do in the resort - there are beautiful bush walks, a playground for the kids, bikes, a lake... More

We came here over Easter with high expectations after looking at the pictures online and dreaming for a few years. Needless to say upon entering our lakeside room we were surprised - the views were even more tranquil in real life! The rooms are clean and simple - comfy without being luxurious. The private balconies are a nice spot to... More

Thanks for your recent review and we are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay in our beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately the life jackets are a necessity for the conditions of our licence so sorry we can't bend the rules there! Our trout are very cagey to catch but there have been a few caught of late with the cooler weather.... More

My partner and I stayed 1 night on this occassion (4th time staying here). Absolutely love the scenery, nature and tranquility! Clean and cozy rooms, comfortable bed, although can hear the neighbours through the walls when its a still night. Wonderful restaurant and reception staff, overlooks a scenic lake, unfortunately the only thing that lets it down is the inconsistency... More
