We stayed for 2 nights in a family room. Room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were well maintained and very relaxing. Nice and quiet. Great value for money. Exactly what we wanted as a base to stay so we could explore the area during the day and have somewhere comfortable to stay at night. The heated pool was a... More

Everything about Karri Forest Motel was fantastic. Spacious, comfortable rooms that were serviced every day, beautiful solar-heated pool overlooking the Karri Forest (with deck chairs to relax!), great BBQ area with comfy outdoor tables & chairs, fully equipped gym room with new equipment, all set amongst lawn and gardens. Short distance from town centre but still the feeling of being... More

Charming quiet place to relax, clean tidy and well maintained. Outstanding value for money. Would thoroughly recommend . We stayed one night on way to Albany loved it so much we stayed two more nights on way back. All the rooms have outside terrace area overlooking well looked after gardens, this was a great bonus. Great little pool area. Good... More

Stayed in one of the rooms overlooking the pool area on the way to hiking the Bibblumun. The room was clean although a little on the tired side - very functional though and was nice and close to the heart of town and the Gloucester Tree. Accomodation was at a very good price, would recommend for anyone passing through.

It's old, it's tired, but it works. We were there for a night in peak season and it cost $145 for the room for the night. Whilst it was nothing to rave about, it was a place to stay, reasonably clean, and it did the job.

A pleasant garden area amongst clean, basic rooms. Our room wasn't serviced on the first night: although someone had been in and replaced the biscuits we'd used, the bed wasn't made, nor the towels re-hung. The small pool looked well maintained and the gym well equipped. The location is great: a few kilometres pleasant walk to Gloucester Tree.

Stayed one night on way to Bibblumun walk. Motel is clean, comfortable with very nice well maintained grounds. Very helpful friendly staff. One of the best things about Karri Forrest is the fantastic restaurant. Good broad menu, really excellent food and fine local wines. We were told by a local that the restaurant had a local reputation for good food... More

We checked into the karri forest motel for 1 night and found it to be surprisingly better than expected having read some of the reviews. Positives: great location, lovely surroundings & well kept gardens, swimming pool (although not heated) Negatives: wifi only available in reception area, room could do with updating-fridge was rusty inside, cobwebs on bathroom ceiling indicated it... Nice rooms with good service, unique as it is. Quiet and beautiful grounds that are well maintained. Close to (within walking distance) Gloucester Tree. Great wine country access....especially Silkwood Wines.

On entering reception found that old damp carpet smell off putting. Website indicates a guest laundry but was told there was not one. The fridge had to be turned on however no-one bothered to properly defrost when it was turned off, hence the drip tray was full of water which then went over the floor. The room description as Executive... More
