When we arrived the reception staff were quite busy as the hotel had a wedding that night, but the staff were very pleasant and helpful. the room was on the side of the hotel and we could just see the river but the view was not great. The Deluxe room was tidy and clean but we had to be careful... More

Whole place needs s makeover rooms are tired. Restaurant food is acceptable but not at a standard to justify the price. Conference facilities are likewise in need of major work, AV gear malfunctioned during my seminar, embarrassing and unecessary. Staff vary from useless to extremely helpful. Corridors are very bare and noise from other patrons echoes loudly.

We stayed here for 1 night after attending a wedding. Loved the size of the room & balcony. Quite scruffy in places & not spotlessly clean. We had a deal that should have included a bottle of sparkling wine which seemed to have been forgotten. We did like the spa bath & the towels & bedding were clean. Breakfast was haphazard... More

We decided to stay here as we needed a hotel close to Perth but didn't need to be in the city. We were looking for a good sleep before continuing home the next day. We did get a good sleep and the bed was very comfortable but generally I thought the room was overpriced for what it was. The hotel... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the outside of the block. Was a little noisy upstairs, and you could hear the road noise on the freeway when the door was open but when it was closed it was good. We stayed on the weekend it was changing names (now Pagoda) and under new management. Maybe they were just... More

Fortunately we stayed here to get closer to the City of Perth, Fremantle, Swan Valley and this is true only 15mins by bus to Perth City route number 31. But we stayed here after staying at the Rendezvous Grand Scarborough Beach and the comparison is Chalk and Cheese hands down the Rendez was much better for young people like me.... More

My husband and I decided to enjoy Valentine's Day at the Pagoda Restaurant this year, so we booked two weeks in advance and were required to pay for the ENTIRE amount of our meal ($210.00) before the booking would be accepted. This transaction completed, I enquired about booking a room for the night under the $139.00 "Spa & Bubbles" Deal... More

The Esplanade River Suites are looking a bit tired, but overall the accommodation is reasonable. Unfortunately the service needs to be improved. After seeing a broken bottle next to the lobby car park entrance, it took 5 requests & for me to take the concierge to the location before all of the glass was removed. Room service consistently got our... More

We stayed for 3 nights on an excellent deal. Very comfortable large room and bathroom. Great facilities, a microwave and small fridge as well as bar fridge. Big bathroom, including washing machine. Beautiful view to the river and no traffic noise. Breakfast and a bottle of sparkling included, so was great value. Location was good for us as walking distance... More

Stayed here for one night in late November whilst in Perth - arrived late evening off a flight from UK by car. Be warned ! This place is not easy to find in the dark when you are tired & jetlagged. The hotel is situated right by the Freeway to Freemantle & the River Swann but you need to exit... More
