Purchased a 5 night stay in a 2 bedroom "villa" through ourdeals.com so thankfully it only cost around AUD$100 a night. Although location is good, complex and villas are very tired and well overdue for refurbishment. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Unit was reasonably clean but needed a very good scrub, especially the bathroom. Shower recess had dirt/mould in the... More

Only stayed here for 1 night on the 20th March and found it to be a really nice hotel. The young girl on check was a pleasure to deal, unfortunately I can't remember her name but she definately made me feel welcome. The swimming pool was a nice way to wind down after driving 5hrs from Albany. I dined at... More

This resort is very "tired" and has a feel of neglect about it. Our two bedroom villa was clean however really needed a good maintenance overall including cupboard doors falling off hinges, chips in walls and in need of paintwork etc. Shame really as the location is fantastic. Walked next door to the Broadwater and the cafe there is superb... More

Only after we had booked and paid through Groupon at $100 a night for a two bedroom villa did we check TripAdvisor - and we ALWAYS do it the other way round! Anyway on arrival reception staff were helpful and off we went to our villa which we had assumed would be freestanding but it was a duplex adjoining design... More

This resort has heaps of potential but let down by the lack of maintenance and needs a major revamp. Poor attitude of reception staff didn't help. Check in time is 3pm and they will not let you into your room before 2.30, even if the room is ready. We arrived in town at 12pm, rang the resort and were told they... More

We stayed with a large group with a range of motel and villa accommodation. We had a motel room - it was OK, could have been better but gave us somewhere to sleep for the night. And, the price was good. It would have been a fantastic motel 40 or 50 years ago. But, the location was fantastic - a... More

Avoid room 18 at all cost. Right on the car park with people walking past your window and up the stairs to first floor rooms. Dirty carpets, forlorn looking furniture and worst of all: terrible pillows (lumpy and cheap) and dodgy-looking blanket on bed. Not to mention the cockroaches I shared this room with. Front desk staff unfriendly, uncaring and... More

we stayed in a two bedroom "villa" which is attached to a villa next door which is fantastic if you want to hear the toilet flush as it has an adjoining door with a lovely gap underneath. The villa we had was so run down , the carpet disgusting the shower screen was filthy with scum and gunge , the... More

Have read other reviews and they're spot on when describing the state of the rooms. But you get what you pay for, right? Upside is the magical location, beach and surrounds. Reminded me of motels stayed in when a kid in the '80s...if you want cheap, clean basic accommodation in a location to die for, you won't find better.
