This B & B has to be one of the most impressive buildings in Albany, and maybe even in WA and was once a vice regal residence for WA state governors. Located hillside with manicured gardens it has been fully restored to its earlier glory by the current owners. The whole area, including the car park, is gated. My wife... More

Stayed three nights at the Rocks and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. A very warm welcome, lovely accommodation, comfortable room and a good breakfast. A good location for access to the town centre so we walked into town for dinner each evening. It's not cheap but I felt it was worth the money. Would definitely visit again.

We enjoyed two nights at The Rocks. The house is elegant and has been beautifully restored and furnished in keeping with the building. Our room was lovely, large and very comfortable, the bathroom tiles very attractive. The grounds are extensive & also beautiful. Noelene who is mentioned in so many reviews was away when we were there, so unfortunately we... More

We contacted Noelene hoping she could squeeze in a last minute booking for a Hen's party, as we had been required to unexpectedly change our booked venue. From the first phone call she was nothing but enthusiastic and accommodating, the day went off without a hitch and her attention to detail and professional, friendly approach made everything delightfully easy and... Was in Albany last weekend for a conference. The Rocks Albany beautiful old style B&B with genuine caring hosts. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Food was divine, personal service excellent, and the décor takes you back to old style English manor homes. Albany has a lot to see and do with special, mostly unknown, history. Highly recommend staying... More

Phenomenal service: I arrived after breakfast, but the lovely lady proprietor, whose name I unfortunately forget, cooked specially for me! When I left the next day, she drove me to the airport! The place is charming - I understand it's one of the oldest buildings in Albany, if not further afield. Beautifully furnished appropriate to the character of the place... More

We spent a few nights in this hotel in January. I would always go back. The hotel is situated in a historic building and the owner has – while not with the original furniture – decorated the hotel in a very fitting way. The atmosphere is laid back posh B&B. There are a lot of common rooms in which guests... More

This was my first visit to Albany. I chose this B&B on the basis of other reviews which are normally dependable. It's clean and pleasant enough with good views but way over-priced for what you get in the bedroom or for the cooked breakfast. And I didn't like having the dog running all over the place.

My first trip to Albany was a very quick one, and as not sure when I might get back again, could not pass up the opportunity to stay at The Rocks. The whole experience was totally outstanding. What a privilege to stay in a home with so much history. Absolutely everything about The Rocks was top notch - the grounds,... More
