We stayed here last week for 3 nights. It was lovely and quiet. Breakfast was really beautiful. We had a great stay! We met the owners once but they are just upstairs if you need anything. Wi-fi was free and was very reliable as was the foxtel.

Stayed 4 nights at Saltair in the middle room (there are 3) with a queen bed that was very, very comfortable and had very nice bedding of quality. The room is spacious with a kitchen providing complimentary milk, coffee, teas and Italian hot chocolate. The deck has a small table where we were able to enjoy Mark's wonderful breakfasts which... We stayed over Australia day weekend and it was a lovely little break. Only saw one of the owners once but he was very friendly. The food was excellent and more thrn enough for us to sit and enjoy while take in the view would defiantly stay again.

Love the personal touches to the food ,the venue & the location is perfect, A Very modern & welcoming place to stay. What you see on the web page is what you get , which was impressive. Home made smoothies each morning was a winner for me. :) :) :).

This was our second visit to Saltair; 1st visit was 2010. We love this place. Waking to the fresh view over Middelton Beach to King George Sound, anticipating the oh-so-good Saltair breakfast is a great way to start any day of a holiday. I agree with Tony W's comment: "...friendly with out being intrusive...". We were not aware of the... More

Arrived in need of some serious R and R and thanks to Mark and Carolyn received it in spades, breakfasts were excellent (and healthy !) Hospitality was friendly without being intrusive. And excellent chill out period.

Stayed a couple of nights and was very impressed. Large assortment of breakfast items. Eveything you could possibly need to be self sufficient. Beautiful room and massive spa bath. A bit of noise from the other room during the morning breakfast period, but very peaceful otherwise.

Saltair gives one the impression that the owners are proud of their place and that many thought has gone in to even the smallest details such as: A capsule expresso machine, BBQ kits and accessories, a bathroom that not only has 2 heated towel hangers but an extra 2 hooks if heating is not required, cotton pads for make-up removal,... When buying a home location is everything and when choosing holiday accommodation location is just as important. In this regard Saltair rates very highly. Situated on a hill amidst other quality homes (the house opposite is on sale for AU $1.1m), with views of Middleton Bay and Beach and a short drive to York Street and the best restaurants in... Thank you for your lovely review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. I would like to clarify just one thing. We offer different breakfast options daily and you are quite right, some of those guest cook themselves on the BBQ, but others are cooked by us. It all depends on what is offered on the day....
