A lovely old building with lots of history. Our room was spotless! No dust anywhere! Even though the rooms are decorated with heavy curtains and bedspreads, fake flowers and lots of paintings (the usual dust traps) it was totally dust free! Not musty either. Our room had a bathroom, which was a plus. Comfortable bed, complete with electric blanket, which... More

It was pot luck that we booked this place on the way into Albany, and we really hit the jackpot! The old two storey mansion is clean, tidy, extremely well located and very, very interesting. Sarin, our live-in host, was not only extremely likeable and thoughtful but he cooked the best breakfasts and sent us off with sandwiches and drinks... More

We had the most wonderful experience staying at this beautiful old place. Sarin made our stay so memorable and we would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to feel special on their trip to Albany. Lovely accommodation, beautiful clean rooms, fabulous breakfast. We felt like we had truly escaped to another world.

Thank you Sarin. You made the stay with your warmth. The room was clean and comfortable, A little to much furniture for the size of the room. Right in the middle of town. I would stay here again. Great value for money

I spent three nights at the guest house. The location is excellent and the accommodation is comfortable. The highlight of the guest house is the hospitality offered - Sarin is intent on making the guests feel welcome and well taken care of, without imposing. I'll be happy to return in future.

very friendly owners, rooms have huge airy ceilings- all rooms have 18th and 19th century paintings on all walls- each room has all you need for furniture- our room had external bathroom but this was fine. In one of Albany's main streets overlooking harbour and walking distance from restaurants, banks and heritage sites

We stayed 2 nights between Easter and Anzac Day. This was a great location as a base to explore as one block from the Main Street and had views from some of the bedrooms to the water. Old beautiful building. Apparently it was a bank in days gone by. Super high ceilings and big big staircase to the upper level.... More

Once we had found it, (poor signing), there was a warm welcome, good food, interesting art works, helpful staff. Two weakpoints, noise from railway and shared bathroom. Welcoming, comfortable and eclectic. Good points were Breakfast, vehicle security and attentive staff. Coffee making facilities and port nightcap provided along with offer of carrot cake! Room was clean and comfortable with incredible... More

After a quick accommodation search we found this gem, fantastic location very helpful staff member. The room we chose over looks the water and the feel of the place is like stepping back in time , beautiful detail with the paintings and intricate detaling on the roof light fixtures. Not to mention every thought is given to guest comfort offering... More

We recently travelled to WA for a short break and booked this place before getting there, what a surprise. Really friendly staff, very welcoming. Room was clean and comfy. Bathroom could do with a make over but very functional. Location was excellent, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Would stay here again and recommend it to others.
