This is by far one of the nicest, cleanest and best located holiday accommodation in Albany. We statyed for 4 days over Easter, and it was amazing. Watching the sunrise over the harbour, while having a coffee was a highlight. It was brilliant. The owners are very caring, and look after you very well. It isn't located to far from... More

My sister and I stayed in Cottage 9 which has been beautifully renovated. Very comfortable, clean, excellent beds. Beautiful spot in the bay with walking track. Lovely manager too. Will go back one day.

This was our 3rd stay at Lilac cottages, Shared cottage 2? with some friends on 2nd visit, and had cottage 3 to ourselves this time. 2 had 2 double bedroom and 2 bathrooms, so was great for sharing. 3 is closer to the water so was more convenient to launch our windsurfers from. It's been recently renovated and tastefully furnished,... More

Stayed for 5 nights over the New Year 2013/14 period. Accompanied by wife, daughter and son-in-law, and two small grand-children. Saw in the New Year standing on the side of the bay, watching the fire-works from the town. This is the perfect place for a family to stay - quiet and far from the noise of the modern world. We... Over all the cottages are nice, being winter in albany the yards had been let go so the over all attraction of the properties was let down. We found mould in bathroom and on blinds in Kitchen, dust on tops of curtains and on most higher surfaces. The heating was not the best on a really cold night and no... More

We recently visited Albany, WA in August 2013 and were recommended the water front villas as accommodation. The accommodation was perfect for the three adults and two children. A lovely self contained apartment with a generous amount of space. It was well equipped with several TVs and had ample facilities including two toilets which was great with 5 of us... More

We booked 4 cottages at once for a family event last week - and all of us who stayed there thought the Lilacs were good value and a lovely location on the waterfront looking across to the town. The kitchens were very well equipped, beds comfortable, couches also, great views from most of the cottages and lovely playground for the... More

We were in villa 6 and found the level of facilities very good, (my wife rates places on the provision of a hair dryer), comfortable beds and furnishings, cooking utensils all there in good condition, didn't see any bugs. The harbour out the back door has one of the best windsurfing speed runs in WA, there were 7 of us... More

Similar to other reviews. Bathroom needs a really good scrub. Mould on ceiling. Dodgy patch up jobs especially on the ceiling which i noticed whilst trying to squash the squillion mozzies. the fridge in one unit had more lean on it than the leaning tower of pisa giving an indication of the handiwork when building the unit. Very dusty on... More
