Hi! Ive spent only 1night (unfortunately) in this hostel just the day before Rip Curl pro was starting! Sean, the owner I suppose, is very kind and helpful. Room is neat, beds n linen are new and there is enough space even In a 8dorm bedroom(28$). Kitchen is well equipped and there is also a small living room and a... More

We stopped here at Torquay overnight, before we made our way to Melbourne. As the title says, it has a surfer feel, as probably all of the other customers we met have one connection or another with the surfing culture, I think one was even a pro that competed earlier in the day. The room was huge with four bunk... More

My boyfriend and i stayed at this hostel as a couple of van packers, so we didn't see the rooms. But if they were anything like the facilities, i'd imagine they would've been fabulous too! The kitchen was spacious and clean, with great equipment. The open plan dining and lounge area was comfortable and welcoming, not to mention very neatly... More

By far one of the best and cleanest backpackers I have stayed in, stayed here for one night on a great ocean road tour. The rooms were clean and smelt of vanilla, a small cosy living area and clean kitchen with an Oven! the owner was very friendly and helpful too. I would stay here again.

We were on a 2 day Great Ocean Road tour and thought we were staying somewhere else...but this turned out to be a nice little surprise. Small, clean and friendly sums it up best. We were in a 4 bed room and it was pretty big. The bathrooms were past reception and by the front door which was a little... More

It's for young party people. Very noisy. If you are tired and want to rest i don't recommend. If you want to party go for it. The staff is reasonable nice but no big deal. Its close to the center but there's not much to do besides surfing...

Thought torquay would be a great place for us to stopover after Saturday dinner and on our way to the great ocean road. We were running late and our guys here was nice to wait for us. Place clean and decent. kitchen furnished with necessary amenities. Hot shower was great in the morning.

We were a group of 8 international people and wanted to try surf at Bells Beach. We choose Home@Bells Beach Backpacker and it was a wise choice. The staff was perfect: nice and friendly. Since it was the first surf experience, the man at desk booked for us cheap surf lessons. They also have suits and surfs to rent for... More

We stayed here on the route back from great ocean road, check in was good - reception even called to check we could find the place ok. It was easy enough. Were in a 6 bed dorm so had our own room, the room had a heather which was needed initially. Overall, hostel was very welcoming and other guests had... More

Superb little hostel! It has recently changed management, and the new owner is an incredible guy! We had some issues with our car hire before arriving so phoned ahead for help. A few hours later we received a text from him with options for tours of the Great Ocean Road & reassurance that he'd help us when we arrived. Nice... More
