We stayed at the Cullen on the 8th July 2015, having booked a Deluxe Studio Suite Balcony room. We requested a room on the higher floors. That request was not able to be met, which is okay, and we were placed in room 123. This room overlooks the back of a few businesses, and a roof littered with aerials, aircon... More

We checked in around 2pm Monday afternoon after a stay at the new St Jeromes hotel and were greeted by the wondeful reception staff. The staff at St Jeromes were okay although, appeared disinterested most of the time. When we checked out the man at reception didn't even ask how our stay was. The Cullen hotel itself is just magical... More

I've stayed at The Cullen dozens of times over the years alongside trying the odd other hotel occasionally. I always return to The Cullen. I just like it. It's not grand luxury but it's fresh, sharp, modern, a bit edgy and well run. The rooms are a good size. The suites are great. And the service excellent. I also like... More

My boyfriend and I stayed overnight at The Cullen as it was close to Chapel Street where we were going for dinner and drinks. The hotel was colourful with fun artwork hanging everywhere. We stayed in a studio room which was clean, spacious and very nice. The king bed was amazingly comfortable and the pillows were very easy to sleep... More

The Cullen, has an awesome vibe about it. The art work is very trendy. I have stayed at the Olsen (another Art Series hotel) as well and although they are both excellent hotels I take the Cullen 8 days a week. The bedding is very comfortable. With easy access to chapel street you can make the most of the shops... More

My husband and I and 2 children stayed for a night the Queens Birthday weekend. After a few little hiccups (4 guests and only 3 towels and one remote with two televisions), all was sorted in a friendly and prompt manner. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the blackout curtains allowed us all to have a really long sleep in.... More

I just stayed for 3 nights at The Cullen and loved it. I don't like bland hotels, so purposely picked The Cullen for its arty interiors from the late Adam Cullen. It certainly lived up to my expectations, and was also very friendly to boot. Loved the inclusion of a kitchenette, so we were able to buy some bread (a... More

Our stay at the Cullen was really nice. I am an illustrator so love hotels like these. The art got a bit much over the 4 days and 3 nights we were there. The art is to big in the rooms. I suggest it is toned back with less is more. Also we were put off by the hotel charging... More

Great service, friendly staff, loved the vibe of the place! I shared a room with my friend though & the bathroom is made of glass and quite see through, so not much privacy - would've liked to have had thicker walls/doors but other than that loved it!

Dear Future Travellers, As I discussed with John yesterday, calmly and factually, his recollection of the events of this evening are very different to what actually occured. John's partner came to the hotel around 3am and asked for us to let him up to a room. He did not have a room key or any form of ID so our... More
