The cottages are set amongst a pretty garden with wild chickens and llama's nearby! Our cottage was nicely decorated with every thing you would need for a quick comfy getaway. Fireplace, cable tv, kitchenette, huge bathroom and good bedding. Too bad the tea room was closed when we were there. Worth a visit!

We had two nights at the Clonmara Cottages in February, 2015. We were delighted with the ambience of the whole complex, and were made more than welcome by our host. Our cottage was just magic with a spacious lounge, and very comfortable bed. A special highlight was having a balcony overlooking the alpacas where there had been a recent, and... More

Easy going rustic charm would best describe this place. Loved the view over the fields and alpacas, birds etc. On the main road but we were in one of the back "studio cottages" so quieter there. About 5 minute drive to town and a good 15 minutes walk. We're not doddery but the step up in and out of the... More

We occupied a single room cottage - 'Cherry Plum' - for the Port Fairy Folk Festival. Perhaps the name is too cute? No, there were cherry plums on the tree at our door, also pears and apples. Very cosy place to stay. We slept deeply and enjoyed the comfort of a beautifully set up place. No where to cook indoors,... More

This has to be one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed at. Appreciative of the gas burning stove and spa bath as it was a cold evening. Love the little extras like port and chocolates. The gardens were also beautiful. Just a 15 minute walk to the Main Street and although positioned onion road, it was not noisy.... More

Clonmara is an easy relaxing B&B ,with character and knowledgeable helpful hosts ;the cottage design very "comfy" with a good spa. The Alpacas are a lovely extra . On the main road just before the town.

We had one night here recently & I only wish we had booked for longer. Our host, Doug, was such a pleasant chap to deal with. The place was spacious, yet it had a cosy warmth to it that left us feeling relaxed. Cannot rate this place highly enough! A truly wonderful experience where we were provided with more than... More

My husband and I have just spent two nights in Clonmara Cottages. These cottages have everything that you could possibly want for a short stay. They are set in a quiet garden. Should you have a craving for wildlife there are alpacas and chooks nearby! The two person spa is a little piece of luxury and the bed is one... More

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We are delighted that everything was met with your satisfaction. We are sorry about the close proximity of the Tea rooms, but it does make life just that little more pleasurable! We very much hope that you might visit again. More

We stayed here for two nights just before Xmas and had such a lovely time. The host was friendly and helpful, and the compendium was one of the most comprehensive I've ever seen in a B&B. Clonmara is in a good location, not too close to the main drag, but not too far away either. The cottages themselves are just... More

Thank you for taking the time to review us and for your 'stunning' comments. We try to make the accommodation as comfortable as possible and put in the little touches that we would like to have if staying. We obviously fulfilled your needs and that helps us enormously to see that we are heading in the right direction. Once more,... More

Could have stayed longer! Says it all really: cottages are well appointed, our hosts were lovely and knowledgeable (although there is the Dick the bushranger thing!). I especially enjoyed having cereal and bread on hand for breakfast as we tend to be early risers and could help ourselves on our schedule. The town of Port Fairy is lovely and worth... More
