We paid $165 for Queen Spa room, which I find too expensive for its quality. Room is spacious and yes there is spa in bathroom, which we didn't use. The furniture and bedding are average. It certainly didn't have the duvet as featured on their website. Staff service was mediocre. more

If you need a good night sleep or several for that matter then this is the place for you. The room we have was modern and well appointed. But for me the best thing was the bed! this bed was the most comfortable bed ever more comfortable than my own! Very good size. Excellent... more

We drove into a very wind-swept Port Fairy as autumn weather lashed this part of the coast. Port Fairy is a small quaint town that looks like it has changed very little since it was established in the mid 1800s. Following our stay last night in the Best Western at Apollo Bay and the first impressions of the town we... more

Having spent two days "doing" the Great Ocean Road, I spent one night here before heading into the Grampians. It was a good decision. The hotel's appearance is a bit cheesy, but the rooms are comfortable and the welcome warm. Location is good too, being handy for the river, coast and town centre. The only food I tried was breakfast,... more

This hotel was recommended to us. We got a room on the ground floor in the new building. We could not believe that this was a Comfort Inn, what a high standard. The room was very spacious, two large beds and very nicely decorated. It had a small patio with two chairs and a table. We just stayed for one... more

We stayed at this hotel for one night while doing a drive along the Great Ocean Road. It was delightful. We had a large room, somewhat dark, but all the amenities. There is a (free!!) laundry room, always a convenience when you are traveling. The staff at the hotel were very helpful, couldn't possibly have been any nicer to us.... more

We stayed here for just one night whilst touring the Great Ocean Road. Our room seemed huge and had all of the facilities you would expect from a Comfort Inn. The decor was quite dark but the whole building was so in keeping with its attachment to The Stag Inn. Sadly I cannot remember the Manageress's name but her customer... more

The Port Fairy Comfort Inn is part of what used to be the Stag Inn which is a National Trust listed building. The new build for the main part of the accomodation building is very sympathetic with the original inn. Welcome is very friendly and all of the staff very good. The room is a reasonable size - the bare... more
