We have been driving the Great Ocean Road for several days and were delighted yesterday to find the Gardens. It is beautifully located along a tributary of the Moyne River and is quiet and peaceful. The park seems very well maintained and the shower blocks are the cleanest we've seen. It's a few dollars more than some of the others,... More

Great park - kids had fun playing on the football oval, tennis court and basketball courts. BBQ areas very well maintained. Very clean. Short stroll over the bridge into town and close to beach. Only drawback - toilet/shower blocks were NOT cleaned properly in the entire time we were there. We saw cleaners once (not to say they weren't there... More

I stay at this park either with my partner or my grandparents every January and have done for 18years. I have also stayed here with friends every march long weekend (for the Folk Festival) every year for the past 5 years. The owners/office staff are friendly enough, not overly outgoing, but friendly and will do what they can to make... More

Good time to visit, not to busy. Nice big shady sites on the river with a good outlook. Easy walk to beach, river and town. Stayed 3 nights amenities clean and ok. Good grassy sites in the sun if preferred and most are of good size. Will come back again.

Looks the best of the 5 caravan parks in Port Fairy. The powered sites along the river (numbers 75 to 106) have the best views (‘facilities’ are closest to 75). Good for bird watching along the river at low tide. A short walk into town along the river, and only about 200m from the beach. An ideal spot – I... More

Nice location between the river and the beach. However, lots of "don'ts" messages are visible, not many "dos". This does not provide a pleasant feeling. The use of the stove costs $1 per 10 mns after having paid $32 for an unpowered site. Quite expensive on the caravan park market! I am guessing we mainly pay for the location.

Stayed here for a rainy couple of days on a powered site in August with 2 dogs. Easy to walk into town. Amenities spotless and the pups loved the green grass to roll and play on. Would definitely stay here again if passing through!

We bare site camped here for 4 nights during this year's festival. Great grass cover and space. The powered sites are very well set out but actually the unpowered sites had a less crowded in feel during this busy time. Weather perfect, safe flagged swimming beach just across the road. Communal facilities and bathroom/toilets all very clean but probably a... More

Great size powered sites with a bit of room to move, the caravan park is on the river bank but unable to walk to the river because of marsh area, but close enough to walk to the tourist area and also to the beach. Shower recess is a good size which was great.
