We love Port Fairy or Belfast as it was known. We have stayed quite a bit and this time we chose the Gardens by East Beach as we have a caravan. The check in was painless and quick- why do some parks take forever to check you in? Given it was really just before the season beginning, the park was... More

Stayed on a powered site , big caravan park close to town & beaches.. Beautiful coastal town but wasn't real impressed with the shops in town centre.. Nice park to put your feet up and relax! We camped close to the river an the clean amenities an good bbq's to cook dinner on. Dog friendly park.

Stayed in a cabin for 3 nights. A great location, 5 minutes walk to a lovely beach. A bit cold for swimming while we were there but nice to walk along the beach. Cabin had a double bed in 1 room and 3 bunks in the other. Good sized fridge and adequate kitchen and bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Park... More

We have been driving the Great Ocean Road for several days and were delighted yesterday to find the Gardens. It is beautifully located along a tributary of the Moyne River and is quiet and peaceful. The park seems very well maintained and the shower blocks are the cleanest we've seen. It's a few dollars more than some of the others,... More

Great park - kids had fun playing on the football oval, tennis court and basketball courts. BBQ areas very well maintained. Very clean. Short stroll over the bridge into town and close to beach. Only drawback - toilet/shower blocks were NOT cleaned properly in the entire time we were there. We saw cleaners once (not to say they weren't there... More

I stay at this park either with my partner or my grandparents every January and have done for 18years. I have also stayed here with friends every march long weekend (for the Folk Festival) every year for the past 5 years. The owners/office staff are friendly enough, not overly outgoing, but friendly and will do what they can to make... More

Good time to visit, not to busy. Nice big shady sites on the river with a good outlook. Easy walk to beach, river and town. Stayed 3 nights amenities clean and ok. Good grassy sites in the sun if preferred and most are of good size. Will come back again.

Looks the best of the 5 caravan parks in Port Fairy. The powered sites along the river (numbers 75 to 106) have the best views (‘facilities’ are closest to 75). Good for bird watching along the river at low tide. A short walk into town along the river, and only about 200m from the beach. An ideal spot – I... More

Nice location between the river and the beach. However, lots of "don'ts" messages are visible, not many "dos". This does not provide a pleasant feeling. The use of the stove costs $1 per 10 mns after having paid $32 for an unpowered site. Quite expensive on the caravan park market! I am guessing we mainly pay for the location.

Stayed here for a rainy couple of days on a powered site in August with 2 dogs. Easy to walk into town. Amenities spotless and the pups loved the green grass to roll and play on. Would definitely stay here again if passing through!
