One of the best Hotels I stayed in, the location, the view, the activities and the staff! We had a beautiful one bedroom apartment overlooking the ocean and the hotel gardens. We also enjoyed a good breakfast each morning in the dining room and a drink or two during happy hour in the bar in front of the fire each... More

Ugly, small and very noisy apartments. Feels like a hospital ward and not worth the money. Wish I had of gone the cheaper options elsewhere as it would of been better value. I googled a lot of accommodation in Lorne and went with mantra because it said it was a resort but let me tell you that it is far... More

Booked here through Wotif as a mystery hotel. Check in took ages as not enough staff on. Room ok but nothing special. Pool and gym good. Had dinner at brasserie. Food quite nice but service pretty slow. Had special deal in brasserie. Would have been unimpressed if each dish was full price. Shower in bath. Very tricky if you were... More

Great location right on the beach, The buffet breakfast was good with a large choice of everything. Tennis courts, lawn bowls, and plenty to do right in the resort. What you would expect of large resort accommodation. My gripes.. The parking..the room we had was a "B" room so we were told to park in a unnumbered parking spot but when we... More

Loved the town of Lorne and the Mantra Lorne was a great hotel to stay. Right on the beach and in the town, so easy walking to shops. Hotel Restaurant was great and awesome breakfast. Comfy beds and hotel staff and so super friendly and make you feel so welcome.

Mantra Lorne is ideally situated with the beach on your doorstep and easy walk to the local shops and restaurants. 1 bedroom apartments are a good option and are neat and tidy. But some of the rooms are in desparate need of updating. Overall, a great property with good facilities, tennis courts, on site restaurant, pool. We have stayed many... More

We stayed here in August after taking up one of their email offers of $100 per night (we stayed 2 nights) for a heritage room inclusive of breakfast. Upon arrival they had changed our room to a resort room (#125 in Erskine section) and we thought it very good value and comfortable. The room itself is a little cosy but... More

Nicely located resort. Breakfast very good and well staffed. I had a "b" room which is not really a stand alone room. No full mirror for example. And you can see into your neighbour's room so you have to stay away from the window. These rooms are poor value at any price.

My girlfriend and I had a fabulous package. It cost us $200 for the night ($100 each), and for this we were upgraded to a room close to the beach. We had a complimentary tasting plate at dinner time (it was delicious and more like a meal) and 2 glasses of wine. Also, a fabulous a la carte breaky the... More

Went there expecting to see ocean views, got view of back fence and what looks like an old caravan park. The room was quite good could do with an extra blind on window near kitchen. The shower was certainy not hot enough. The experience of being put next to a door during dinner on a cold winters night was horrible... More
