Stayed there with a friend for 2 nights. Toilet door doesn't close properly, toilet pipe MOULDY AND RUSTED! Heater sparks when you turn it on, radio doesn't work, beds rock hard! As we checked out, checked my credit card statement and noticed an extra $150 was taken from us! Called up for an explanation! We're charged for having 2 extra... More

Was looking for low budget accomodation and found Koala Park Resort. The price was right. The attmosphere was great and very family friendly. Rooms are a bit out dated but very clean with everything you need like toaster, kettle, microwave and fridge. Plus the big outdoor BBQ area! Kids could play tennis, meet the animals etc. The new owners are... More

Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The bush setting in the area is beautiful. The welcoming and lovely new owners are still getting their heads around the place and in conversation mentioned the many plans they have for the place. We received new crockery and cutlery during our stay. The brewery next door also offers delicious food, friendly service... More

We loved our stay at Koala Park resort... So much so, that we extended our stay from 1 day to a week!... We, (my husband and I and 2 kids) just fell in love with the place.... The rooms were great, clean and tidy with a fantastic main bed... We travel alot and the bed comfort can be hit and... More

The rooms had what we needed but were very basic. We checked in and the beds weren't made up. They were going to be done while we went out but when we come back one of the four was still not made properly. They hadn't supplied the tea and coffee, so we had to chase that to. The staff were... More

Stayed one night at this disgraceful excuse for a motel. There were 5 of us but only 2 towels were supplied. The room was crawling with spiders. The smell was unbearable. No pillow cases on smelly pillows. Mattresses covered in stains. Never again!!!!!

I rode down to Phillip Island for the WSBK races in Feb 2014. I found this accommodation site and booked it before I left home, due to the close proximity to the circuit. The booking in was so easy and the room was well prepared with tea, coffee and biscuits and nice clean sheets. The shower was great although hot... More

We were very disappointed with our stay at Koala Resort. Certainly not a resort. Paid $195 for the night for a very dark old room, shower was not much more than a trickle. Was told to bring our own cups for tea and coffee, there was a kettle and a toaster but not a spoon or plate or anything else.... More

My boyfriend and I came down to participate in the Tough Mudder event. We chose Koala Park Resort as it was reasonably close to where Tough Mudder was held and it was in our price range. When we arrived, the staff were exceptionally helpful and informed us further as to the event and location. Our room had a delightfully comfortable... More

Upon arrival, we were greeted we thought we'd have good stay. Once in the room we noticed it was nothing like what the website had shown. The room was small, cramped and in my opinion below average. We took a walk around to see what the rest of the 'resort' was like. The pool was filthy. The BBQ looked like... More

We do recall your booking, and would like to dispute some of your recollections. You did come to the office to advise us of the BBQ, which had been used by a group earlier that day, and it was literally about to be cleaned. The swimming pool is closed till the warmer months. The suggestion of disputed gender is outrageous... More
