This place is horrible, so much so that we left the premises before spending the night there. My husband and I booked a night for the Queens' B-Day, and once we left at 9pm, back to Melbourne. It is absolutely filthy, the TV and fridge are in a cupboard, tea, coffee and cups are sticky with dirt. The room smells... More

We stayed 2 nights and were pleasantly surprised how good it was after reading the negative reviews. Lois and Max are perfect hosts. We stayed in the front bedroom with a fantastic ensuite. Very expensive for what you get. Rooms have a shared bathroom/toilet (lock on toilet door doesn't work), damp smell and poor air quality in room causing me to have an asthma attack (I haven't had an asthma attack for 5 years !). Breakfast was very nice. Really disappointed with this place as we loved Phillip Island other than this place

We found Dumfries Park Bed and Breakfast, Cowes, Phillip island overpriced and recommend that prospective guests inspect a room at this "bed and breakfast" (run from a suburban house) before agreeing to pay the asking price of $160 per night.
